The suit change has been the sore topic of conversation between ARMY as one camp believes he changed on the spot and another said it's not possible and it is actually a cut in the video. From the moment I saw this performed, I already knew this is not one take. Jimin had to change and wear the new suit and then record the song from the point he stopped. This is proven through BTS memories 2020 behind the scenes when he was doing this practice. He actually mentioned it was too heavy to dance with 2 sets of clothes on him. And I'm so glad that I was right.. hahaha..

Jimin is indeed the best dancer in bts and one of legends in dance world! He is very versatile dancer! And powerful dancer! He learned hiphop, popping, isolation, contemporary dance, ballet, jazz, traditional dance! And he was the top student in his dance school! And he learned several martial arts such as Japanese kendo 8years, taekwondo and he black belt btw, hapkido, and Chinese martial arts! U will be amazed by his solos and even group songs! He is that talented! And he won 2 awards for his dance (one of them is national award for his dance + he is the only artist to receive a national award for his dance) + he ranked as the best dancer in kpop and took the title for 4 years! He is known as idols idol! Many artists study his dance! Many dance professionals praised him! He is the one who introduced me to bts when i saw him dance back in 2014! He is such talented and unique dancer!

Since this was not offline concert, they want to make it perfect as possible(since previous offline concert they make not an obvious mistake). As part as their satisfaction to give good performance on stage for fans. Pre-recording is used most in music award or music chart show. Usually to avoid any accident during live show. But for BTS when they use pre-record stage they still perform on stage to make sure the mixed work well. But for offline stage they perform for fans who attend the show to show their appreciation.

For some reason, YT won’t let me edit my previous comment. What I wanted to say is that I have worked on stage costumes, & I have created a suite that did this exact effect. It’s not that difficult to make. The hardest part is putting on the outer layer just rite and that it holds through the performer’s actions but pull all off without a hitch. I do know that Jimin practiced this for quite a while. He really wanted to get it down & worried about it looking rite. E pulled it off brilliantly. Shout out to his costumers.

To explain the suit change, the Filter performance took place at BTS’ virtual concert (around late 2020) and it was 2 days long. All the performances and solos were pre-recorded for the concert to which fans could watch live online. Since there was no live audience, a lot of the footage was edited. So basically Jimin didn’t actually change that fast, it was just a cut scene !! Hope this helps, you should check out the MOTS:ONE concert video sometime :) Love yall’s videos
