Little late to the game here but Jimin has a huge vocal range and he can rap (Tony Montana with Suga). You probably already know is this by now, lol. But the very first line is his ‘pure’ rap vocal, the 2nd autotune (stylistic choice) and 3rd line is his own sweet falsetto, Angel voice! This should’ve won best dance performance when it was nominated and I’ll never get over the fact that it couldn’t be because it was based on ‘vote’ or something. The category should have been based purely on dance performances by dance/performance experts. Like Crazy was nominated instead…a masterpiece of a song but completely opposite style of dance/performance to its main competitor, who I shall not name. It was not a fair comparison; had SMFP2 gone up against the competitor, hands down it would have won - pure BS. This song is an anthem and it is a masterpiece! Had it got the same PR in the U.S. as another member’s music did, it would have broken records, just as LC did. Jimin is as versatile as they come - a true artist!

Did anyone else get a black swan continuation vibe? Black Swan was about being chased by your shadow self and trying to overcome to work together with all parts of you. Especially when you watch the version performed by the dance company. In Black Swan though, Jimin went from the white swan to the black one, almost as if he was overcome by his shadow self and hadn't learned yet to merge the two. In this one, it seemed like he learned to break free of his shadow self and the expectations of others (the rigid uniformity of the dancers he walked through in the very beginning) to return to find his true self aka the white swan.

It has a very different vibe than Jimin's song and Jimin himself confirmed that it's not connected in any way!
