Yesterday SUGA made a vlive explaining that he wrote the lyrics some time ago, but adapted it after reading the third and fourth chapters of the webtoon.

I haven’t read the webtoon, but I read all the promotional material before it was released, and from what I understand, it’s kind of a sci-fi dystopian story about the human race being at war with a race of humanoid tigers. Chakko is a word from the royal court of the Joseon dynasty in Korean history. The Chakko were the Royal tiger hunters, that were sent out to protect villages when tigers would come down out of the mountains and threaten livestock and people.

SUGA is not only producer, but main composer/songwriter. Also credited for keyboard and synthesizer
