Yes, do not sleep on the vocal line! Jimin and Jin do sound exceptionally good in their Japanese songs, but the vocal line and their range as a whole is just amazing. I love, love listening to them just go off every time.

this is OST for a Japanese movie "Signal" which was a thriller about an investigation team solving a murder cold case. Hence why the lyrics express grieving over the loss of their loved one. The live performance of this is so beautiful

This one has nothing to do with ARMY, although it might have started that way. It's an OST song for a Japanese movie called Signal. It was originally a K-drama, then remade into a Japanese series and then remade again into the movie. The plot has time travel of a sort. No one actually moves across times but a police profiler finds a hand-held radio that allows him to speak to a cop in the past. Speaking across time, they're able to work together to solve cold cases. The multiple doors show how the cop in the past is told what they know about a situation in the future and then the cop can try to make whatever change he decides on, but he only gets one chance to change things. Both are continuing to move forward in time. So, if the outcome of the changes is worse than what originally happened, they're stuck with it. In the MV, Jin is playing the profiler while JK is playing the cop in the past. The two aren't that far apart in time, so there are people who are present in both times. It's a really good series and I highly recommend it. The last time I checked, it was available on Netflix.

Can I just say, Evan’s face just totally grooving and getting into the song was priceless. One of my all time favorite Japanese songs. Didn’t get the proper attention that it deserves because it was between Dynamite and Butter but this was my favorite of the 3 of those songs. Just beautiful.

Jin being apart from them at the beginning as the protagonist of the story and the hourglass running out of time with JK noticing… the explosion in the room like in Fake Love… then Jin disappearing at the end with V reaching out to him… It’s a lot to decipher, but they’re so good at it!!! 👍🏻 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Borahae🫶🏻🫰🏻

I also think it's about loss. And when they open the door and there's all the other doors; all looking lonely and destroyed. That makes me think of Covid and the isolation people felt amidst the chaos. The loved ones they lost. And yes, Jimin's voice is so unique. It's so light and high pitched, and you think it's beautifully fragile, but then he hits you with the full force of it and suddenly it's amazing and strong. Then you're just in awe. Man I didn't realize they had so many MVs!!! 😂 I keep waiting for you all to experience their live performances which are the best in the world. No exaggeration. Lol. AND then there's their solo albums!! You will all be like 50+ years old still not done with BTS 🤣🤣 You need to pick up your speed!! 😂

Thank you AGAIN for your reaction, I just love them. I always attributed this song to Jin going into the military. I don't know why but when you mentioned break up or empty nesting I thought of Jin again. He was the first to go alone and leave his brothers. That's the thing with BTS everyone has there own interpretation of their MV's, and that's okay. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying this is the be all end all interpretation it's just mine. It's ironic seeing how Jin is coming home in a few weeks. Especially at the end when V says "I reach out my hand" to JIn "and then suddenly you disappear" Thanks again guys, I'll have to join you for one of your "lives" one of these nights, when the moon is out.

The song was written by Jungkook in collaboration with the lead vocalist of Japanese rock power trio Back Number, Iyori Shimizu, and the track's producer UTA. In an press release the guys said when they received the demo from Iyori Shimizu they were drawn to the beautiful melody Viv's must have has a bad day if she didn't give you any background on the song. Poor Viv's works too hard and y'all so mean to her🤣

I'm so glad you liked this song, it sounds even better live no joke! As someone mentioned in comments it's an OST for "Signal" a japanese movie. I still really liked your interpretations though but yes it is about loss. Some army have even felt vibes that relate to the Bangtan Universe Storyline despite it not having the "BU certified by Big Hit" in the description box but the part where Jin is there and the wind implodes into the room reminds me of Fake Love MV cuz it was also Jin in that same scenario and other things like that.

I think I read somewhere that the song is also means taking break from their music career, members and fans bcs of mandatory military training. You can see their happily spending their time but time was running out and jin was first member to enlist, thats why he is watching himself and other members opposite from the mirror and the room was exactly same but devastated, maybe he is from future and remembering the memories and those are disappearing.

I just watched the explanation vid by xCeleste ( she has some great ones) and it blew me away The doors floating were really explained. Recently I showed this 10 year old boy an illusion picture ( there was a picture hidden inside.) I asked him what he saw....He said ,trees and stuff. I said "Look again, It is the river of Styx". I told him " see the person at the end of the boat who is standing and steering it. And the 2 people who are sitting in the middle , looking scared" and he says " oh, yeah, and look at the branches." This confused me and I asked him what did he mean. He talked about how the river had branches that were like another life. Why it was called...... the river of Styx........ I got this from a 10year old. (and his family were not church people) Amazing how smart kids can be.
