I am admitted Jimin bias, but totally understanding why you are rap line bias. I am Jimin bias due to his written lyrics in Lie and Promise and what he says in his dance because they spoke to me. Rap line often has stronger lyrics that speak about them personally and those lyrics speak to you. Where as vocal lyrics are often more general or ARMY focused and might not speak personal as strongly to you. Most of my personal favorite songs over the years have become solo songs due to seeing their personal views coming out in those songs. Again, thank you for your honestly.

Bryan, hearing you explain your rapline bias was great. You hit the nail on the head. It's involuntary that you focus on your bias, it just happens, your drawn to them. We all love OT7, no question but your bias subconsciously pulls you in that direction. I get it 💜

I can’t really relate to the lyrics of Like either, but what makes BTS lyrics so great to me is the way I can feel what they’re saying and receive their message/emotions even without directly having experienced that feeling/situation myself. They’re super talented in that way too, just taking their audience on the journey of the story they’re telling. When you watch the full ARMYPEDIA performance, please include the secret second performance of I Like It too if you have time! I won’t spoil it, but it’s called “Suga focus” and it’s hilarious.

One of the reasons why I like it so much BTS is certainly the simplicity but also the sincerity with which they approach subjects and feelings that we have all been able to feel one day. I mean...being hurt by other people's judgments, the insecurity of feelings, the "stupidity" of our own reactions sometimes, etc. The heart and the mind seem to remain the greatest mysteries of a lifetime and it sounds quite heartwarming to hear it through their wonderful voices & lyrics ! I also like the way you take the time to talk about it, some would quickly pass on the subject as something only for teenagers or something like that...but in fact no. Even when you're old enough to know what's good or bad for you, that doesn't mean you always make the best decision, that's the problem 😅 ( Let's make some...bad decisions 🎶)

They are so chaotic as always 😂. Yes I agree. I do enjoy them just having fun and goofing around with each other. I don’t need any big performance even though those are awesome too… It is okay to be biased. Their are many ARMY who are biased (sometimes too much that they become toxic or solo stand that are toxic). For me I came into BTS watching reactors reacting to compilation videos and so I got into their personalities before I even realized they were singers/artist… I loved all their personalities but Jin and Suga really pulled me in and I related to their personalities or they made me smile when I needed it. Once I realized they were artist the people who drew me in with their voices/lyrics where Suga, Jin, and V. However after getting to know more music and all the members I have grown to love them all. Jimin actually has taken me a while to appreciate his voice more just because his voice isn’t usually what I prefer… now though I have grown to appreciate his voice and love it. I now am working on getting to know V’s personality a little better and RM…, I think that we all have people we are biased to at the beginning because of the limited stuff one has consumed of their stuff…That is why I always try and get others to not say you have a bias or even if you have a bias be willing to get to know their rest of them members if they are baby ARMY because they have barely gotten to know them and probably have gotten a good sense of them all (or fail to get to learn more about the other members because they are so focused on just their bias(es))…Just my opinion though….💜💜💜 Now the people I relate to, to the most is Hobi, Suga, JK, and Jin…I am hoping the more I get to know the other members I can grow to relate to them too. Bespite that I call myself OT7 because I love them all in different ways. Hopefully this makes sense.

The rap line are the bedrock and foundation of the group. They literally performed as a rap trio under the name BTS before adding the vocal line was even an idea. They all have an insane amount of talent and insight and they're such good role models. I know this fandom tends--and especially the part of this fandom that comments on youtube videos--tends to go hardest for the VL (and the maknae line specifically) but you shouldn't let that make you feel like you can't express all the appreciate in the world for the rappers. They don't get enough love and attention on reaction channels if you ask me. As long as you love and support the vocal line and never denigrate any of the boys (which it's clear you do and don't, respectively) then you're all good. :) Sing your rap line bias from the mountain!

as someone with a biased who happens to also be oT7 ride or die pls don't sweat it! let's say you pay closer attention to Yoongi.. ofc you will! not to mention the boys have literally hundreds of songs? you can't humanly cover every song in a bunch of days it's gonna take months if not years, it's not that you're hearing them by yourself, you're filming, producing, a different story. Thing is in the fandom we got one too many solo stans/akgaes, ppl who are really toxic.. don't be shocked if maybe one of them are whining, simply cause they could be projecting. when i started stanning bts i didn't go through their songs in order and just listened to random songs when i felt like it and found favourites in that way. Armypedia introduced me to this song for the first time and i fell soo in love with it. Still one of my favourite love songs by BTS! Also has my favourite Hobi verse 💜

Jk was my absolute favorite in this performance the way hes so stable and been harmonizing with the rapline and his adlibs throughout the whole song are chef's kiss mans just from a different planet

I don’t know why people make such a big deal of rap line versus vocal line. You’re obviously a BTS fan but you relate to RM and Suga and J-Hope on a different level than the others. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. You’ve never said anything disparaging about the vocal line or said oh that song would’ve been great if It didn’t have the vocal line. In fact quite the opposite. Also, it’s so true what you said about J hope. The others have said before if he cries they’re going to cry. I think you’ve seen some of the clips from his birthday where his parents wished him a happy birthday and he started crying and all the other started crying too. Not just in BTS but in life you are always allowed to like what you like, regardless of what others say. I always tell people my bias is the rap line and the vocal line is my bias wrecker but like you, Suga holds a special place in my heart. Like who you like, that is what brings us joy in life and no one should dim your joy. This is a cute song that perfectly encapsulates how it feels to no longer be with someone you cared for in my humble opinion and I am glad you reacted to it. Such a timeless song it’s just soo good and yes a vibe. Just think about how strong vocal line especially JK who was 15 when he laid down the vocal track, ridiculous talent. There is a crackhead version of this Armypedia called “like Suga cam”, it is one of my absolute favorite all time BTS videos. For context they filmed the song live a second time. Tae had won a mystery prize in a run BTS style contest as part of the Armypedia interview but not knowing what the mystery prize was generously gifted it to Suga. They then learned it was a fancam of the song which would go up on RU-vid, where the camera will only focus on the area around a single member. All 6 guys especially Tae found it hilarious that Suga was “gifted” this because it annoyed him. (In many groups they would be fighting or hurt feelings over such a fan cam opportunity not our guys nope this is a chance to be goofy). And thus was filmed one of the most chaotic live song versions of Like, I watch it about once a week just to laugh. The fact they vocals stay solid while they chase Suga round the set. 😂. I agree with you about Hobi’s rap. He has the ability to lay you out with a smile on his face and you don’t realize it until you think about it later. He is one of my favorites in fact he is my bias wrecker. JK is my bias. But please don’t let people dictate to you who you like most it’s called freedom of choice as long as you like BTS😊. Another beautiful reaction of a song that really brings me back in the best way. Thank you! No question, we are all permitted our biases. I'm a j-hope bias with a healthy side of V (sounds like I'm naming my astrological chart, there, Aquarius with a Sagittarius rising 😂), but I adore them all, for their wonderful selves as well as for their unique talents. Sometimes people can be overly passionate about their preferences, and that's all that is (and indeed, some fans can be remarkably toxic, usually without meaning to be). We should never have to defend our own, though, but just love and enjoy them for all they particularly touch us, and as part of the whole.

When I first found BTS ( or was found by them) I was initially drawn to RM and Suga; not just for their musicality, but also their personalities - they just resonated with me more. However Yoongi 💜 quickly became my bias - just the sound of his voice always makes me smile. His song "Agust D" always makes me feel 'Home' whenever I hear it (which is strange, I know, but it's how I feel). On the other hand Shadow always, and I mean ALWAYS, makes me break down in tears (my chest actually hurts listening to it). Until recently I described Tae and Jimin as my sub-bias' (standing right behind Yoongi, peering over his shoulders). Not bias-wreckers, but sub-bias'. And once again, I was drawn by their personalities as much as their musicality - and Jimin's dancing; which always takes my breath away.💜 A couple of weeks ago, however, I realized that things have changed. I now proudly say - that I have a triple bias. Yoongi, Taehyung, and Jimin. I connect so strongly to who they are as people; the essence of them as beautiful and unique individuals. And as truly incredible artists - who quite happily, and easily, play with my emotions; and leave me in awe of the power and beauty of their performances.💜🤩 That's not to say that I don't adore BTS as a whole - because I definitely do. BTS is, and will always be, 7. (Or 8 [90,000,000] with ARMY). And they are all incredible artists and human beings. It's just that I, personally connect most to Yoongi, Tae, and Jimin.💜 I would LOVE to see a song by the three of them. We already know Tae and Jimin are incredible together when they perform, as are Yoongi and Jimin. I really like your style of reacting to their music. Especially since there are so many new english speaking fans. Then you end with a performance and all of this gives a fuller picture of the song and the group. BTS lyrics are often very clever, well thought out, and have a deeper meaning than people might think. Sure they have some more superficial songs but for the most part, their music is multi layered. They really hit at all levels when you add in the performances. If you're a paid reactor (by record companies), you don't come off that way and I truly appreciate it. I also love your background! Great idea!

you probably remember the song from their Festa Live! it was the first video you reacted to of them, if i remember correctly lol.

If you enjoyed the crackhead way the goof around and vibe while they perform, you really have to see a live concert. I'm sure, unfortunately, because their concert PTD LA is on Disney+ it would almost impossible to react with out running into copyright issues, but honestly it's insanely funny and kinda explains what people love about them so much beyond their amazing music. The full concert is long (very good) but if you have Disney+ and want to see what I'm talking about, skip to the last hour or so (my recommended start timestamp 56:19). The first half of the concert is more their crazy choreo songs and title tracks, but the last hour is their killer good b-sides and very little choreo and I can't explain it but in some ways that's more fun and impressive to watch than their immaculate dance skills. There you really see their vocals, improv talent, their personalities completely shine and their chemistry as a group is unmatched. And just So. Damn. Funny. Can't explain it, has to be seen.

Ahh I don't feel like you are not fair to vocal line, true that you reacted to more songs from rap line, but when there is vocal line you always say nice things and comment on them.
