BTS is basically known for being humble. 😊💜 Their staff always mention that they still haven't changed despite the huge and success. They all say they have their manners, they still live all together, they're still humble and still respectful towards everyone as if they were still on the first day of their career. Also other Korean artists like Jessi, talked about BTS being humble, lovable and real to each other. I think coming from extremely poor circumstances made them never forget how hard they had to work to be where they are now. They never forget where they started and they're grateful. 😊
They are just koreans. Different mentality and culture. It's always so suprising for me to hear that someone suprised that they're humble. It's all about western pop culture and image of ''selebrity''.

Jessi herself mentioned the fact that many people in the industry are arrogant behind the mask of perfection they put on for the public bc there's a lot of competition, but that BTS are very kind and lovable, which is rare to see. Being arrogant isn't a trait limited to the western world - that's pure bs and tbh puts Korean ppl on a pedestal in an insulting way. So many Korean ppl have mentioned how sweet, gentle and humble BTS are and how they're different from other peers of theirs. BTS themselves have talked about peers and industry ppl looking down on them. There wouldn't be such a thing if Koreans were humble by nature, as you seem to believe.
Check out their Come Back Home + No More Dream + Mic Drop performance It's 3 songs live back to back yet they had crazy energy till the end. Bts never slacks off even at the comfort of their own concert.
And Yes in the korean version of the song it is "how you think bout that." But they have an English version of this song and they Changed that part to "what you think bout that."

I’m so glad you guys are enjoying our boys! I really appreciate you giving them a chance and not counting them out because it’s unfamiliar. They really go deeper than just “a boy band” or “just some guys that can dance” they carry a message with each of their songs, even with this one RM talked about why they made this song, they had been getting a lot of hate from haters and anti’s and so they made the Cypher series with just the rap line to basically talk about the ridicule they went through but MIC DROP was like the farewell to the haters basically saying they’re letting it go, and they’re not angry anymore. RM says it much better but my point was each song has meaning and I think that’s why many people connect to them. Regarding “What you think bout that” and “ How you think bout that” they say them both!
@@MoNa-zl9du i actually noticed it right after i sent the comment. Before they only did music, so assumed that's their mo. Not the first time i've been wrong, so :) sorry. The seven members of bangtan is a bit outdated by now i think. I wonder if someone has made a good updated version.
The way they do these intense choreographies while singing LIVE is what you noticed: they pass the lead around constantly so no one has to carry it too long. They also trained singing while running on a treadmill & other exercises to create the stamina to have stable voices. However, whenever a fan who knows their recordings and performances well listens we can pick out moments where they are breathy, or maybe their voice cracks, or they come in a split second late. The amazing thing is that they are as good as they are especially in a 3 hour-long concert. I defy any NFL or NBA athlete to do what they do.

we love them not just for great music, dances and good looks. In fact, we start to love them so much when we find out what great people they are. I guess I can say that they have strong foundation for them to keep their feet on the ground. We all know as a person, people around us partly contributed to be who we are today. Having their agency who keep on supporting, guiding , molding & embracing them as their family helps a lot to keep moving forward in this industry. K-Pop is not a joke, the expectations, pressure, demands are too high & knowing that there are more of trainees who are struggling at this very moment to chase their dreams, my heart soft. One of the main reason why people respected & love Bangtan & BigHit.

The difference between the “what” and the “how” words....in the original version where it’s mostly Korean language, they use “how.” In the Steve Aoki remix, they use the word “what” and that version has more English.

So there are multiple mixes of this song, each with varying degrees of english so yes some of these lyrics were different than the MV..... So happy they had this opportunity. I watched this live. I could tell they were nervous. I've seen better performances of this song but I was so proud of them. This was HUGE for them. They also performed boy with love the same night. May want to check that out too.
I think thats more just your opinion, not a fact, As someone who's seen just about every single mic drop live performance ever, in person as well, this was definitely one of their best, even with the small stage. The energy level was top tier.
@@mandy32396 I mean I don't think anyone of the three people (including me) that commented came at them harshly at all, just disagreed, since they're commenting on a video of someone who's seeing the live performance for the first time & making it seem like it was sub par or wasn't that good, which would be false. No one's trying to make an issue.
I agree with the pov that they are still trying to make it, because I really do believe that. They've kept the same attitude, the same energy, the same passion, the same desire as they had from when they debuted, they seem to be continuously hungry, and as much as they are honored and surprised by their success, and they understand they have success, they aren't satisfied with the status quo, and they believe that they have to work to go even higher. For them, it's in their talent, in their artistry, they want to improve and be the best performers that they can be. And then even better. And for army, it's about getting them the recognition we believe they deserve, because you don't have artists that do this. you have people that once they make it or even before they make it because they come from a large company, that theyre not as in it and it comes through their arrogance and their hubris. even though you have artists out here that are extraordinarily talented, the fact is that you could see that they don't have a passion for the stage or a hunger for it the way many start out with, they lose that or you can see that they just don't have it and makes you wonder why they're all the stage in the first place. it makes you feel lackluster about them and in retrospect makes you appreciate artists like BTS because of the fact that you can see that they are still trying to improve themselves, are still trying to do better and be better. I've also had become very comfortable with 7 members. It's odd because I always thought that 4/5 were uniquely perfect for a group, but I honestly think that's just because that's all I was exposed to for such a long time, however, there are groups out there that just have 3 members and I think in the end it depends on dynamics. I'd like to mention though that I'd be awesome if you could go back ten seconds afterwards or something when reacting to music videos, just because its easy to miss something. The Mic drop MV you watched was the english version with steve aoki, that's the one that says "what you think bout that", there's a lot of english lyrics in that version. The original version came out before that one and has more korean parts. FYI, they also have a japanese version of mic drop as well as quite a lot more of their songs p. E. fake love, so if you hear different lyrics than you're used to hearing, you've probably stumbled across a different version. 💜
How long they must've practiced to do that routine in one take. To do that complicated choreography with so much energy and then be pitch perfect... I have no words.

I am happy to see you are still enjoying the ride :-) Mic Drop is one of my BTS favorites, that bridge with Jin is absolutely gorgeous, and visuals in the MV are breath taking, however to be able to perform it on such a tiny cramped stage and not to lose incredible energy and tempo of the song is very tricky. They did amazingly well but I still think that this particular song needs much bigger stage to do it justice; here it felt a tiny bit chaotic and suffocating, with their heavy, bulky clothing , ton of commotion happening and a handkerchief sized space to do it on:-) They are professionals:-) Would you care reacting to House of cards? This can be considered a diss song that's why they sing it aggressively. The rap line has a cypher series 1 to 4 and many Armys consider Mic Drop as part 5. RM did say that it's his last time addressing their haters (I also think that's why the title is Mic Drop). Look up the lyrics with English translation and you'll understand.
Check their live performances. Their Idol perf.in Good Morning America and Jimmy Fallon was good cause the space was small but still they pulled it off. All their live performaces are so good(esp. their MAMA, MMA awards performances are crazy)

Oh! Okay, so. In the original version which is 98% Korean they do say "how you think 'bout that", but in the remix version it says "whatchu think 'bout that". Hi Brian and Stan....I Love your reaction to BTS and I have to say that BTS makes me so happy when I watch them. I think if you watch the video of them...well, there are two of them;...one is " from nobodies to legends " and " who Is BTS " you will see how they started and it was very hard for them.
