This is my top favorite vocal from them, every one of them shines like the sun. First for me is Jin, my oh my. Jimin breaks my heart, JK like a pure beam of sound, and the rap line is like a deep clear foundation, and it all together is like an anthem.

Jin has a nasal quality to his voice but I agree with you. His voice can often blend beautifully with the other 3 vocalists it can be tricky to distinguish.

My take on the vocals of this group: Jin - a voice made for ballads (aka Trot in S Korea) "Epiphany" V - husky and soulful. "Singularity" Jimin - unique tone and his solos are breathtaking. "Filter" live is interesting... Jungkook - I consider him the "Pop" voice (like Beiber) "Euphoria" live, especially when he's flying high live at a concert. Not sure, but have you heard "House of Cards"? If not, it's a must. (live, no MV). Just the 4 vocalists.

MTV brought back Unplugged just for BTS. And how spectacular it was.

Don’t worry- we all confused Jin , V and JK at the beginning. You can keep Suga apart from them - that’s better that most of us did 😂 RM , JImin and Hobi are the easiest. Jin - plump lips that JK and V don’t have. JK- big eyes and bunny teeth ( hand tattooed ) V- sculptured high nose. You’ll get there in a couple of days 💜😊

The thing is , when this came out a year ago we Armys were completely blown away by this cover. Like you said - BTS is more a performance group than just a singing group. When they make a song they think about the performances as well and in advance. So harmonies aren’t something we were used to. JK often harmonizes with the others. They all do sometimes. But here in Fix You .. the way we heard RM actually sing- we never got to hear him like that before and after again. It’s was beautiful for us. And I feel you - I wish they would harmonize more. I hope in the future the vocal line will do that more.

V wanted to do the cover and always wanted to do a collab with Coldplay along with Jin. And then they did. My Universe.

They have a redident arranger in the company. But, Suga, in his intsrview with Jimin, louded the vocal lines in their contributing in making their songs sounds better by adding their respective flavors. And, BTS boys care so much of their looks when performing or when they are in public to make ARMY feel proud of them.

You can always tell them apart by their voices...jk has a powerful stable voice often does alot of adlibs and high notes, jimin has a unique angelic light voice and also does alot of high notes well they all do high notes but jk and jimin do most of them...jin has a more nasal sound when he sings and v has the deepest voice out of the vocalists...individually they are all amazing but together they are unstoppable 💜

BTS has a production team they work closely together with. RM tends to do break downs of the songs on V Live. He will talk about an album and who did what. P-Dogg is their main producer that they work with, but they have all had a hand at producing their music, and they all have writing credits on their songs. The rap line tends to write the majority of their music, with RM being more songwriting and lyrical, and SUGA producing. But they all contribute. RM, SUGA, and J Hope being full members of the Korean Copyright Association (KOMCA). The other members are associate members of KOMCA. I've seen all your BTS reactions since last year. I actually came to your channel from an interview with another RU-vidr. I think you just didn't give us a chance to come to your channel. That's only my opinion, I really don't know. I remember one time I tried to request a song during a live, and when I tried to do the super chat and donate, I messed up and requested cash. That was embarrassing. I was still trying to figure out how things worked. But after that I gave up trying.

They makes some performances for MTV, they are all very very good, specially Blue & Grey. You have totally right about the things BTS is primary a performance group, they sing well but you can't really stay just in that about them. For the rapper : J-Hope is in the rap line but he makes most of back vocals in albums. He doesn't sing a lot instead he really can when he want. A RU-vidr have make video about backing voices in BTS songs, it's really interesting.

I just discovered you ver recently so idk everything you have reacted to so if I recommend something you have already reacted to I apologize. First off all compose. Usually they will get a song and sing it together. Then they pick out who sounds better where, especially what feel there want to express…Also I think it depends on who wrote or produced the song too. How I distinguish V, Jin, and Jk: -V has more of squarer jaw and has a boxier smile -JK has doe or bunny eyes (I also think his lips are thinner) -Jin has broad shoulders and maybe wider nose Vocal Line Song Recommendations: -Promise by Jimin -Winter Bear by V -Snow Flower by V -Falling cover by JK -Yours by Jin -Moon by Jin -My Time by JK

Most of the time the vocal/rap arrangement is done by their main producer Pdogg, sometimes by other internal producers, sometimes rapline. I would have no idea who did this performance though.

I'm super excited to see how your perception of BTS is going to evolve. Vocals, Rappers, Coreography, and of course let's not forget their consoling and positive lyrics. It comes in a whole package and you can't miss out any of them. They are so versatile. They can be amazing entertainers in their recent performances at the Grammys or at the MAMA 2019. And they can be amazing singers in basically all of their songs. But if you're interested in all 7 of them harmonizing I would recommend listening to "Film out" LIVE (not the MV). It's a song in Japanese tailored for the Japanese market but you can find English subtitles as well.

I think octaves is an underappreciated harmony haha I understand what you mean when you say you would've liked more harmonies but I think it would've become too much for this song I like this version, simple, effective, and they did it well!

The usual suspect for the musoc arrangement on live performances is Docskim. He's the keyboard player and de-facto director of GHOST, the band behind BTS most times they use live music. Not sure if he made this one but he's usually the one in charge of music arrangement. Not sure if we ever got info about vocal arrangement for these kind of covers but they usually work with one of their in-house producers helping coordinate (we did get that data for covers they published as gifts for ARMY)

Hmmm let me see. JK can do runs and most of the adlibs for the group V has a deeper soulful voice with the occasional high pitch runs Jin has the tenor-alto voice Hopefully this helps. But facial recognition is still the best way. All e best

For last year's BBC Radio One Live Lounge they did a cover of I'll Be Missing You and added some rap lines ot the song to fit more witht he whole globalp andemic desolution. Beautiful harmonies and adlibs in that one.
