When this MV came out I was tearing up within the first few seconds when they showed the old practice room with BigHit on the wall where they filmed their old dance practices. So many memories in this one.

Jiminnie was emotional because he had just broke down crying before this, expressing his troubles and struggles to us. And army were there virtually so they could hear and see us during the show which was why JK held the mic out. He still wanted us to sing for him. This entire concert was bittersweet. Especially to those of us who were meant to be there in person before the pandemic hit.

I tear up everytime at "WE ARE NOT SEVEN WITH YOU"....this song and their feelings in it feels heavenly. I just can't describe it in words it's just that we ARMYs can just feel I guess.

I think the part which hits me the most each time is when Tae starts singing: Tell me your every story, tell me why you don't stop this, and then Jin: "tell me why you're still walking, walking with us" 😭😭😭 the whole MV represents their journey to the place where they are now 💜💜 I love it and the MV is so cute and touching at the same time 🤧🤧

Not ashamed to say that when I first heard this song I was sobbing (alone) in my kitchen wailing "they love me unconditionally!". 😆😆😆 Definitely a hard-hitting fan song. I know when ARMY tells new people about different tracks "oh, it isn't just any old love song - it's a song to ARMY", a lot of them think we are exaggerating and obsessed. So many times, though, BTS actually tell us it is or the song has references obvious to ARMY. Group or solo songs like 2! 3!, Magic Shop, Pied Piper, Love Myself: Answer, Still With You, I Know, Sea, the entire BE album - Mikrokosmos, Make It Right, Moon, Boy With Luv aka "A Poem For Small Things" [that ARMY does daily]. I think RM said the MOTS: Persona was a love letter to us. What are we supposed to do?? 😅

Just how BTS have their animal symbols - like chick, bunny, cat, bear etc.... Whale now represents Army 💕

Shoutout to the Army who went through hardships and stuck with the boys. Thank you for supporting them! As a new fan, this was emotional and I can’t imagine what this song means to you. I love how the boys write songs for Army but takes them on an emotional journey through their history. 💜

It was live streamed...the crowd you hear is real and they could hear them too. I watched this concert with my daughter and we cried. I cry every time I see the video. I'm not ashamed to admit that either lol. And you're right...these guys could sing the phone book and have a #1 hit 😏

was it before this song when thay said their ending ments for that online concert? jimin cried and i cried with him. he sobbed, was totally broken. before this during the encore bighit made a surprise stage with a screen full of army watching it live and singing along, and he cried, because he missed this interaction so much during the pandemic. "I actually couldn't focus since the encore, when preparing for this concert during covid, there were a lot of things that felt unfair... I really wanted to meet armys and perform with the members but why did we have to have this kind of situation... But i am so happy to be able to see you all like this, and honestly i feel bad that i couldn't focus and show you the best. but im thankful that you are supporting us even through the screen, thank you" you can see that he put everything into performing WABTE as the last song

That concert was very hard for them. They could see and hear some of the audience members even though there were many more people watching live that were not able to represent. Those who were there actually surprised Jimin because he thought they were just videos of the fans but they were actually live streams of a certain number of fans. When Jimin realized that he started crying hard., so you can actually see his red eyes from all the crying. Very beautifully emotional.

Ohhh with this hairstyle on Jimin, I remember this was the day when we first saw him cry while sobbing hard after a long time. Baby Min was sad that they (the world) had to go through such things (pandemic)

The live that you watched was from their online concert, Map of the Soul ON:E. They performed two shows and I think this is from the first night. Their team had set up 800 monitors with ARMY being live streamed, so the boys could see and hear ARMY for the first time since the pandemic started. Jimin hadn't realized that ARMY was actually live and as soon as he did, he started crying. BTS was upset because ARMY was actually there, even though not physically, and they had to say good-bye to them. They didn't want to leave and ARMY didn't want them to go, either. It's not shown, but ARMY continued to sing to them after the song ended, while the boys walked from the stage they were on to the place where the concert had started. RM kept saying, ARMY, we hear you. We know you're here." It was a very special moment and one that I will always treasure. Lots of emotions, from both BTS and ARMY. Unfortunately, ARMY couldn't sing completely in unison, because of computers lagging. We did our best, though, and BTS greatly appreciated it.

Oh I was a new army when the song came out and I was at that point being mind blown everyday at how incredibly well-made every single piece of their work was, every old MV was a piece of art. Being blown away at the brand new standard they’re setting for the world! The new world standard. Then I remember thinking, “damn! Did you even have to go this hard with the animation?” All the references to past MVs are just so monumental. The new standard being it’s so cute and yet so touching. The art is so effective and it’s just the power of their creativity. The excellence in their work is inspiring. For the live performance, yes they were so bumped. Jimin cried his eyes out poor thing! It was a live-stream concert and they arranged a group of army (by lucky draw) to be able to interact with BTS at the encore time. That’s why they took their earbuds off coz they could hear army screaming at their computer screens at their home live. So you can imagine the overflowing mixed emotions at that point. They could still hear some live screaming even though there’s no one physically there 😭 and they had already been deprived of a live audience for a year at that point. Bless army they prepared all the signs and decorations to show on the screens too! Sorry it’s long but the ON:E concert is also one of the best things I’ve ever seen! Even tho there’s no live audience but the technology they used to create the visual feast, it’s just amazing! It’s something that I’d never seen in a concert. Mind blown once again!

This one always makes me cry. The love they give us is unbelievable.

Army was with them virtually live so BTS can hear them during the performance.

Before that live performance, each of them were doing their ending ment (words with army/speech) and Jimin burst into tears. They’ve been anticipating live show with army, but covid keeps pushing further and further away. They were going to have both live streaming concert & in-person concert the next day (late 2020), but just days before the weekend concerts, they had to cancel in-person & make it as another livestream concert day due to government restrictions due to safety (outbreak? I forget). Internally, for the guys, especially Jimin, it’s heartbreaking to keep having their hopes dashed. Also it was the first time BTS heard armys voices while performing since Jan/Feb 2020, though it’s definitely not the same as armys in-person since armys on screens online. I think Jimin said he either forgot or didn’t realize they were live armys, not like a pre-recording or something. Anyway, the song itself is already emotional and it was the first time the guys performed WAB: The Eternal. RM said he cried a lot while writing this song.

Army in ON:E is REAL, just with delay... they were online on many, many screens over the internet, and their sound was lagging... But they were "live/real time" and that is why Jimin cried and cried when he realized it during encore. So million Army watched ON:E but only around 1,000 lucky ones had chance to be heard and seen back on those screens.

Ahh- You got me in my feels on this one. It's been a little bit since I watched the mots performance of this. It really took me back I remember crying to much during the end of both days. You're right, you could really tell they were missing Army the whole time and while every single performance in the concert is breathtaking and on point as always- there was an air of sadness and uncertainty to everything. It hits different watching it back again and remember everything that we were feeling at the time. It was really special how they set everything up, they had a tone of Armys on like zoom style videos so that BTS could see Army and Army could sing along with them. So when you hear Army singing there, that is actually them- just not actually there. Which had to have been frustrating, like together but so far apart all at once. It wasn't enough for BTS or Army, but it was something. And I think at the time, it gave both sides the motivation we needed to keep going. Looking back, I'm actually so thankful they decided to do it and all the online concerts after. It was crowd of ARMYs the E-Concerts have screens showing the person that is connected, they were hundreds of screens showing ARMYs at home cheering with them A-bombs live. That concert had a record ticket sale. Hahaha never underestimate Big Hit, when it comes to get BTS and ARMY together they will do whatever it takes to make the 7+ happy. God bless them. when this song came out I'm not even in my two years of being an ARMY yet, but this song and mv had me in tears, and after watching the mv all I think about was, if this made me tear up imagine those ARMYs that's been with them from the start who witnessed their struggles from back then... I'm really glad BTS has ARMY and ARMY has BTS.

In my understanding, the part where RM said their name used to be laughed at is not just about how they were ridiculed but also about how people (them included) thought their original name, Bangtan Seonyondan or Bulletproof Boy Scouts was cringy. But now, it has become a testament of who they are; that they are indeed bulletproof. I also think that that line by RM also became the inspiration for their latest entitled PROOF. It's a compilation album, with their songs being a proof of them being bulletproof. I also get touched whenever they sing the bridge part where they ask, why we're still walking with them. Yes, it conveys how surprised and amazed they are that we still stayed with them. But I also think it's an invitation. Throughout the song, they have already told the world their story. Now, it's our turn to tell them ours. Oh, I remember, I also think that line is a reference to their album, You Never Walk Alone.

For ne it's their best lovesong to ARMY. The shouting in the background was ARMY watching the online concert who were connected live. I was watching the concert live myself like all their online concerts during the pandemic.

if its not too much trouble i know you have many songs you wanna do many videos and requests etc but later on after you do all their music videos if you can revisit this video i think youll love it even more as youll be able to point out all the music videos if you dont want to then thats fine its your channel of course just think itll be cool to see it again later after youve seen all the music videos !! :) also a few things shown in the visuals are only known by army as its not mentioned in the hardships video or on doolset. at 3:05 a black wave hits jungkook that is sadly a representative of something in kpop called a black ocean. a black ocean is ALL kpop groups and kpop artists have light sticks so during award shows theres always multiple fandoms and they all have their light sticks cheering for their favorite groups/soloists. however its normal to keep your light stick on the entire award show so that everyone gets cheered for. but sadly when a fandom dislikes you or is even upset with their own favorite artists they would turn the light sticks off during that groups performance causing a black ocean in the crowd. bts didnt have a lot of army back then and it was difficult for armys to be seen in the crowd due to so many other fandoms outnumbering us. many fandoms decided to turn their light sticks off during bts performances i think it happened twice. so that was bts remembering those times many armys may not even know about it due to it being passed through word of mouth and not added to things like the hardships video. ive seen the video and screenshots from that day on twitter it was heartbreaking its one of the worst feared things kpop groups dread during award show season cause they never know if someone will organize it to happen to them. bts dont have to deal with that anymore and armys make it a point to always have our light sticks on even international armys had theirs on during i heart radio performances of western artists switching the colors before and after bts performance so the other artists wont feel left out. at 3:10 represents everyone trying to box them in whether to idols to kpop to this or that etc. at 3:20 suga was holding his shoulder representing his hurt shoulder and the fact hes been dealing with it all the way until november 2020 when he finally got surgery. so all these years all these performances, tours, practices etc he had to endure pain cause he was afraid of taking time off for surgery and also didnt have time to because as you seen in the rise of bangtan their success was aways on the line they couldnt rest or theyd fall then when they shouldve rested they were so big they felt they couldnt thats another reason why now in 2022 this break is so important cause they finally feel like they can rest and just live or do solo stuff without having to work on group stuff too much. around 2016/2017 they shouldve taken time to rest as they were set by that point and didnt need to worry about the falling they had to worry about in 2013-2015 but they kept pushing and going even farther into the international markets which almost caused them to break up in 2018 i wish they wouldve rested but im so happy theyre finally doing it now they deserve it so much and i hope things are different when they do come back as 7 and arent as busy/set in not taking breaks i hope when they come back they remember to take small breaks when they need to so they dont need to feel at the point of breaking before they take long breaks. sorry for ranting this song makes me so emotional cause if everything went to plan we are bulletproof the eternal wouldve been the last song until they came back instead of yet to come cause they break theyre on now was supposed to happen after their map of the soul tour but the pandemic ruined those plans. it feels like yet to come in that way (not sure if you reacted to that song yet)

I'll be honest, this song makes me cry whenever I hear it, both because it reminds me how much they suffered in the early days and because it's such a beautiful expression of the love they and we have for each other. I've long thought that the way BTS treats ARMY is special, and ARMY is more than a fandom - we're a family. It's a place to belong and for many of us, that sort of thing has been sorely lacking. I'm pretty sure the scope of this concert was the first of its kind with millions watching the live stream. I was up at 3am PST because it was held on Korean time. I've done that many times now! I guess it was a lottery to be one of the people appearing on screens in front of the stage. Big Hit told us they piped in noise from them. Apparently Jimin didn't know they were live. Lots of tears and you could tell they were doing their best to be upbeat.

You were right the first time with the doors logo - ARMY followed by BTS. There are some live videos… mostly fancams… of WAB:TE from the recent Sofi LA and Vegas concerts. They are incredibly touching. There aren’t too many videos for Bulletproof Part 1 as it’s a majorly pre-debut song - it was originally made in 2010 with RM, IRON and Supreme Boi, the embryonic rap line before Suga joined. BTS remade it for Festa in 2015 (I think). Bulletproof Part 2 is their second release track from 2 Cool 4 Skool (2013). It has got an official mv.

I love this song so much, and the MV has a lot of meanings about their story. They sang this song on 'Permission to Dance on Stage 2022' with Army, it's an actual concert with fans. I recommend you to check out that in your own time. It's beautiful to hear their voices. In those specific concert on Seoul, Army wasn't allow to sing or cheer because of the Covid19 regulations but even though it's amazing. 💜

Oh god, I just remembered ON:E was a reconfiguration of the MOTS: 7 tour that was cancelled. It was going to be spectacular with stage design by Stufish Entertainment Architects (their portfolio is insane.) I had tier 1 tickets for Levi's Stadium, CA April 25th, 2020. Most of us held onto our tickets until they finally officially cancelled and refunded in August of 2021. 😭😭😭

How about a little challenge, try to dig out how many and which old MVs they are referring to within this animated MV? You may also think this is a chapter wrap up before latest released PROOF's Yet To Come (a lot references to Spring Day and Blood Sweat & Tears). Think about they originally thought after released MOS7 then world tour then start individual projects but COVID came in and delaying their original plans.

I think you are right about this song being about them in the end of that journey, not only because the mv has SO MANY references to their past, but if you listen to all of we are bulletproof, you will see how their styles, their goals and the message they wanted to convey changed so much. This song really hits so hard if you know the context haushsuah I get goosebumps every time and even cried sometimes. Hi Bryan 👋- apologies in advance as its a bit of a long message this time. I try to put my comment in order of thoughts I have during your reaction, sorry if its a bit random. And apologies if you know or have been told some of this from others before. Yeah this is a beautiful song and MV, song makes me cry nearly every time. This was my first time seeing that live performance - its amazing. 💜 As you say, no matter how good the production and vocals are on the studio version, they always sound better live, vocals are so clear. Wish Bighit would release a live performance album of songs on streaming platforms. Other Korean groups/artist do release songs for their fans as well, which I think is really cool - no idea when that started but it definetly seems to be part of the music industry and general relationship and celebration of fans there, like going on Vlive - I love how they release songs like that to show their gratitude and I'm not aware of any western artists that have done or do that. But I think no matter the group or artist it definetly comes down to the sincerety and meaning in the songs and BTS's songs definetly have that. But also as we know the relationship and love between BTS and ARMY definetly extends beyond fan songs in a unique way given their history / story .💜 BTS songs sounding similar🤔ah you know by now that's not very likely. 😄Having said that Bulletproof 1 and 2 are closer to each other in sound than We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal as they are both more in Hip hop/rap genre. It's not explained there on Doolset but it's a bit confusing because only Bulletproof Pt 2. (Released in 2013) and We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal are Official BTS songs, both with MVs but Part 1 is not. It really confused me for a while as I couldn't find part 1 on streaming. We are Bulletproof Pt 1 was originally called We Are B.P.B. and was a song made in 2010 by RM (who wrote and produced it), Supreme Boi and IRON in their trainee days - before BTS was formed, they were I believe the original line up to be an all rap/hip hop group. I've never heard their song, not sure if its on Soundcloud. So I guess We Are Bulletproof Pt 2. which was released in 2013, was called part 2 as it followed on from that, even though the first one being considered 'part 1' was never a BTS release at that time. Then BTS released their own version of the song in 2015 for the Festa (anniversary celebrations) and it was called We Are Bulletproof pt.1 and they did a live performance of it. The song was released on Soundcloud, not as part of an album or on paid streaming platforms. So I don't think you really have to react to them in order as Part 1 was released second for BTS. There are a few lyric videos for Pt. 1 but only seems to be one uploaded live performance at this time that I can find. Bulletproof Part 2 and Part 1 you will get to hear Jungkook rapping, as he does on a few of their other earlier songs, including the first song No More Dream. You will also hear Jimin, Jin and V singing with deeper rougher vocals. Jimin has particularly raspy deeper vocals on a lot of songs and V has what can only described as an awesome growl to his vocals which you have yet to hear. And in Bulletproof Pt. 1 - you will get to hear a bit of rapping from Jin in a short verse - he sounds pretty damn good. I always love your 'spiels' please don't cut anything out. 💜 Bangtan Universe or the BU is a continuing storyline that is told in some of their MV's. That is independent of Tiny Tan - which is the animated versions of them with animated videos to a couple of their songs (explaining as wasnt sure from your comment if you were aware of that or not). I still havnt got into the BU and im sure there are many others the same. Its like a whole other Marvel universe thing - so its another layer best to discover later, especially considering your more about the lyrics. You can still enjoy, understand and find meaning in the MV's without following the BU. Just know if you see something that is a bit confusing it's probably a BU thing. It's not in all MV's and the ones that are part of it have BU in the description. For example the classic one that always confuses people is why is Jhope lying on a pile of snickers in a scene in the Fake Love MV 😆 Each Tiny Tan video has them matching how they look in the MV for the song. There is 'Dream - ON' which features 00:00 O'clock (zero oclock), 'Magic Door' which features Mic Drop and there is one for Dynamite but it's a shorter clip. If you havnt yet you should definetly give Dream ON and Magic Door a watch. They are both hilarious (particularly Magic Door) and beautiful at the same time. They feature a sort of mini animated story that literally rivals Pixar. You will see the purple Whale in Dream ON. Given your a little familiar with the purple whale I think you should definetly react to Whalien 52 (released 2015) soon so you can understand more about it's origins and meaning. It's a beautiful song. 🐋🎵 I have seen a few people mentioning in your comments that you should react to Not Today - just want to say I agree, but think you should do Baepsae first, as 'Baepsae' which was released first, is also mentioned in Not Today's lyrics - and given you dealve into the lyrics so much i think its good to understand 'Baepsae' as a whole song first. I think they will both make your playlist. Not Today is an awesome motivational / fight song and the MV is brilliant, very cinematic. There is no MV for Baepsae but there is the must watch dance practice and explanation video by DKDKTV - I'm sure it's on your list. (I Know I've mentioned it more than once haha 🤭).

Suggestion : if not watched yet . Do check out 2020 Global Army Song "7 reasons" Army's from all around the world gifts song for BTS on Army day ( July 9) Every year army's release song . Personally 2020s was best . In this song We are bulletproof: the eternal BTS said *tell me your every story (to army's) tell me why u don't stop this .tell me why still walking with us* So army's replied to these questions as well . Very meaningful song as idol as fans such a thoughtful n talented fandom 😭 love my fellow army's. *My English is not so.good hope u will understand . You know what if it wasn't for armys we promoted bts everywhere buying billboards and sending flowers and cakes to radio stations to play bts and more and more to promote them when bighit didn't have the money to do anything for the boys even recommending them to big RU-vidrs to react to them we are tge only ones who believed in them and they never forget that they always give us the credits when people ask them about armys our relationship is something else

there was no-one in the crowd no BUT a moments before that they were surprised by their crew when they could actually see ARMY online on LED screens right behind them, live! it was livestreamed and some ARMYs had their cameras on (it was planned by BH +ARMY) so they turned around and saw them! I'm not sure if they could hear them? or if they were hearing those recorded ARMYs fanchants and they assumed it was those ARMYs they had just seen live.. :< poor Bangtan! ignorance is bliss lol let them dream hehe

I have mixed emotions about their live performance cause they did it in front of a camera, there was a super strict quarantine in SK so ARMY couldn't attend aaand they added those recorded ARMYs fanchants and.. I'm not sure if Bangtan wasn't hearing it too? like it's obviously recorded, no-one but their filming crew was there! It was heartbreaking either way though lol distracted by the fake screams of ARMY but couldn't stop the tsunami of tears for me!

not to throw shade nor anything but after Bangtan there were a few other bands who tried to 'write' coughs* songs for their fans however............. you can sniff the performative aspect of it all pls lol A for effort, at least they try! lots of bands and musicians can be extremely successful in many ways, streaming, selling, marketing etc, none of them will be able to manufacture what Bangtan and ARMYs have built organically. That being said, oh boy those labels are sure trying hard to do just that.. good luck to them!
