Wasn't this planned wayyyyy in advance??? I swear I'm not being a dick, but if an employee has earned vacation time then he can do whatever he wants during that time, but also as long as it doesn't interfere with work past the time earned.

Bubba acts like he doesn't know that Lummy does this every year. He goes every year, he needs the money. Bubba should deal with it. Lummy is devoted. he is there all the time. It is this one time a year.

Make Lummy TRAIN someone WELL, so that if hes gone the other person knows the FULL scoop and becomes lil Lummy while hes gone. This way Bubba wont miss a beat and everyone gets their needs met.
