Any specific reason you went with a double cone over a super marin or deluxe

I would have gone with the Deluxe if I had a larger budget for a skimmer.

+brsund06 Since I made this video I added a DIY float switch to prevent emergency overflows. I just posted a video on it so check it out.

+ReefBum yeah I has watched that one I also plan to do some type of float either in the cup or a collection container especially after owning a similar omega 150 on my previous tank. I also think I may do 2 float switches for the water height just so the pump when doesn't turn back on after a power outage and the sump has a high water level I think I may also put one at a low range too just to turn off the pump if the water were ever to low. I'm more wondering about tuning the skimmer I herd it can be tricky.

+brsund06 All the things I covered in the video are important but the position of the outlet pipe was the biggest one for me. Make sure it is not obstructed and is directing water into the area with your return pump(s). Water height in the sump is also important so make sure it is between 7-9 inches.
