Holy shit that ending was dark

That ending was a whole new level of f**ked up

I stand here alone. The most recent comment was over a year ago, leaving me to myself in the infinite catacombs of the comment section, with nothing but screams of viewers gone by for company as I contemplate the horror that just graced my poor, insignificant eyes. Bubsy left his mark on all of you, but at least you could speak with others and share your intimate tour threw Hell. I have been afforded no such luxury, and have been left with my thoughts for all eternity. To any viewer who dares find this comment, pray for me, and think twice before embarking on this journey alone. Goodbye and good luck.

Fun fact: The people who made this game later on made a cult classic PS1 game Syphon Filter, which figures on many top 100 best PSX games lists. Makes you wonder what was happening behind the scenes during the development of Bubsy 3D...

the blotches left by his attacks are fans. You use them to glide up. The obvious sign is that they hurt you when you touch them on the ground, and clearly fans are the first thing that come to mind.

That's actually a royalty free track I got from AudioMicro(dot)com. It's called 'Accordion for Amelie' so I think whoever made it copied the original from the film but changed it enough to avoid infringement.

The ending kinda scared me.

I remember stumbling across that making this review. Thank god Gabe Logan didn't run around spouting one-liners or I may not have liked that series so much. Syphon Filter kicked so much ass and didn't deserve the death that it got. Even the PSP games were awesome!

The original Bubsy for the Mega Drive was actually pretty good - I think it does it a disservice to call it a Sonic clone - yes, it was a platform that integrated a feel of momentum, but it had fun and varied levels, a gliding mechanic, and level element interactions that were a cut above those in the first sonic games (like water chutes, rollercoasters). Let’s not forget all the death animations! It’ll always have a place in my heart

The first rocket did not send you to the next section of the stage. It just teleports you to the nearest ground, because apparently the white/black checkerboard patterned ground does that. Problem is, I don't know what that texture is supposed to represent.

The reason why the Woolies spit is because they did that in the original Bubsy. You'd know they shoot you if you played the previous ones.

Well, I'm an old school sonic fan since I was, I don't know, seven or so, and I remember I also liked to play the original Bubsy on my Sega Genesis. I never thought Bubsy was a straight up copy of Sonic back in the day, though. Nice vid btw. I had a lot of fun.

The biggest sin Bubsy 3 D committed was that, despite every level having a punny name and cover illustration to match to reffer to something pop-culture related, every level has the exact same barren open hallway layout with the occasional floating platform. They didn't even try to differentiate the levels from each other at all and that shows an absolute lack of caring even on the design stage.

The first (and only) game that I can think of that I just ran through to get it completed was Agony from 2018.

How he managed to survive all the way to the start of the 3D era is beyond me...I vaguely remember playing one of his games on Super Nintendo...I was too young to know what to think of it...But after watching some LPs and only the first couple of seconds of the cartoon pilot that was thankfully not picked up for a series (Not counting the intro), I can see why he's considered the Meg Griffin of Video Games!

How to fix the 16 bit Bubsy games - Zoom the camera out, remove the 1 hit crap and then remove the idiotic fall damage. You'll have a half decent game then How to fix Bubsy 3D - Burn it then play Mario 64
