The hate are mostly from two groups of people: the homophobic ones, and the toxic Buddie shippers who want Buck to be paired with Eddie. Both have posted disgusting intrusive comments. Better to not paying any attentions to them.

The favorite of fans is Buddie. Tommy will be just for a short time..Season 8 is for Eddie

they could have a great one night stand maybe. The but more I know Tk and Buck, the more I doubt that Buck and him could be a good match. Buck isn't stable enough and confident about what he is, what he wants that he wouldn't be stable enough to ground TK because TK is not stable enough either. both TK and Buck needs more mature partners. at least this are my thoughts. But even if I do love Tommy very much, and I consider Eddie a bit of a struggle too, I keep rooting for Buck and Eddie as a couple because their relationship is just so amazing and they are just what Christopher needs as parents in life. The three of them make such a wonderful family portrayal.

​​@@samaelhenryI doubt there would even be a one night stand. Buck had not realized yet that he could be attracted to men. And at that time, he was clearly attracted to Marjan. Buck might be a womanizer, but he was never a two-timer. He never gave his attention to two people at the same time.

When Tim Minear, the co-creator of 9-1-1, was the showrunner in Season 1 & 2, we got a steamy lesbian session between Hen and Eva (her ex) and several intimate scenes with Karen, her wife. We also got hints that Buck had a crush on Eddie (who joined in Season 2). It seemed like Tim Minear planned to pair Buck with Eddie. After Season 2, Tim left 9-1-1 to become the showrunner of its spin-off, 9-1-1: Lone Star. Tim was succeeded by Kristen Reidel. However, under Reidel's reign, we had no intimate queer scene whatsoever that Hen and Karen could practically be sisters🙄. On the other hand, we got several steamy scenes of Buck and his rotating girlfriends. However, she kept putting on the show several moments which could read as coincidences or close friendships between Buck & Eddie. Those moments were interpreted by fans as hints about their future romance. Now that Tim Minear has been back as the showrunner since Season 7 (current season), we finally got a significant progress of Buck's queer journey. Based on the above facts, I couldn't help but suspect that Kristen Reidel was actually hesitant to display physical intimacy between queer couples, while she didn't show similar restraint about straight couples. I guess that's why Buck & Eddie's potential romance never came to fruition under her direction. The hints or coincidences between Buck & Eddie which were on display under her reign felt like fans services only. Their purpose is to keep fans' interest on the show, but never actually moving the relationship into the next level. Since now Tim has been back as the showrunner, I hope that Buck's queer journey would actually have substantial progress, and possibly a happy ending (with Tommy, of course😜).

@@tiararoxeanne1318 I also must admit that I really like the scene between Buck and Bobby when Bobby said he knew the relationship with Tommy was good for Buck because they haven't had to "talk" about it. That being said, I do wish they would have shown some more reactions from other crew members. Sure, the scene in the hospital room at Maddie and Chimney's wedding was really cute ( and well done), but even still, sometimes, there needs to be a talk to clarify, especially with folks like the parents (their faces were priceless). Clearly, everyone seems to be accepting of the relationship, but I still feel there needs to be some more discussion, if not with Buck and Tommy than among others on the team. Maybe those are still coming .....

@@michaelkrupar9808 If this relationship attracted enough viewers (which it seems does), there's plenty opportunity for those in Season 8. I believe in Tim Minear🤞, but fans need to show their support too.

If Tommy & Buck's relationship generates enough viewers (which I hope it does), there's a big chance we'll see a lot more of them in Season 8, as long as Tim Minear doesn't go anywhere else.

they obviously are not and are actually a pretty ass ship what are you gonna riot for? No build up was made and they have zero chemistry. Just a plot device ship pretty impressive how low standarts people nowadays have 😕😕

Yup. They chose the right actor to be Buck's first (and hopefully only) boyfriend. I mean, Buck has been low-key crushing on Eddie for years, and Eddie is one damn fine hottie. It takes an exceptional man to really catch his eyes.

It's amazing how they build this character's journey (kudos to Tim Minear👏👏👏). They have planted hints that Buck might be bisexual since season 1 or 2, especially when Eddie came to the scene. It is mentioned in the conversation between Maddie and Buck that Buck has abandonment issue. And Buck's most serious relationship is with someone older than him (Abby). With all those seeds planted, it feels so natural when Buck falls hard for Tommy.

And he's so handsome💞, like masculine handsome. Not pretty boy handsome (that would be Ryan Guzman😂).

A lot of us are dissatisfied with how little they show Buck and Tommy in Season 7, but we understand that Season 7 is shorter than usual due to writers' strike, and other characters' journeys need screen time too. So we'll be patient waiting for Season 8.

@@tiararoxeanne1318 I mean Tarlos barely had any scenes together in Lone Star season 1, and they end up becoming one of the best things about the show, so there's still hope for Tevan.

​@@rebel_soul_vActually, in Season 2 it was implied that Buck had a crush on Eddie (by Maddie, nonetheless), but it seemed not reciprocated. So maybe his feeling waned over time, replaced by a genuine brotherhood feeling.

But Kristen Reidel, the showrunner of Season 3 to Season 6, seemed hesitant to move their relationship forward (or any queer relationships for that matter🙄). After Tim was back in Season 7, he executed his plan to make Buck bisexual, but with a different partner as a twist. Oh, I hope Tommy is the end game for Buck. They look good together. Moreover, we need a representation of strong friendship between male characters which is not romantic, like Buck and Eddie.

I don't think it was Fox. Fox has Tarlos in 9-1-1: Lone Star since the beginning. I think it was Kristen Reidel, the showrunner of Season 3 to Season 6, who had been queerbaiting fans without making actual progress in any queer relationships on the show or in Buck's bisexual journey.
