I just saw these guys less than a week ago. No video on youtube comes close to showing what they actually sound like. Josh's voice is actually amazing in real life, I was completely blown away by how great he is at singing. For some reason, recorded videos make Buckcherry not sound too great but they are honestly fantastic.
Petey882573 The reason he sounds this bad because he can't hit the notes. Its flat and he sounds tired. I've seen then 5 times and they've been great but the recording shows up the failings unfortunately. It's not a critical view it's just a fact.
I saw him like 2 months ago and for most of the show Josh and the current band sounded really good. I think this was just a bad night for Josh and the sound guy was terrible. All that said, as the show went on everything got way better.
Ive seen them 7 times......heard Josh when he was fantastic, and heard them when Josh was not so good (like this). Guy doesnt take breaks and give his voice a rest and unfortunately this is what the new norm is for him

Very underestimated band... people who are judging them are the same ones who buy Justin Beiber records Hot as hell and Josh Todd is truly very underrated!!! Love love love them!!
I've seen these guys live a couple times and they're a fun band to see. I definitely think that the singer would benefit from the band tuning down for live performances. Sometimes it's just what you gotta do when you cant reach those notes anymore. All the old timers do it cuz they cant sing as High anymore.

This is what you would get if you had a kid born to rich parents who wanted to be a rock star, but he can't sing, has no charisma, and yet nobody will tell him to STOP. It just ain't happening. It is as if the audience is not even there. Compare this to Queen at Live AID and this isn't even music. Yes, it is an extreme comparison, but this is no different than some punk in any town just screaming into a microphone. It just is the worst of the worst in the world.

I agree. This guy sucks ass as a singer. He looks like shit too. If I were the band, I would kick his ass so far out of band he would never hit the ground again. Band sounds great; the lead piece of shit singer needs to go.
After playing Woodstock 99, I wonder if any other festival just seems like just another concert for these guys. Especially since they played Woodstock so early in their career
Are you fuckers for real. 2013 in Brazil. playing to a crowd that has never heard of you before. there to see to someone else. if you have ever seen BC play. rather than listen to whats probably a phone recording. or at best some cheap shit recording gear. - give it a rest. Ive seen these guys play every year for the last 7 yrs - and they rock my world at every show. want it simple - Josh sounds great live - come see me at the gig - we can argue about it
+ben11fan They opened up for mötley crüe in são paulo, back in 2011... it was the first time I saw them live... they really rocked... I was at this concert, front row, I appear sometimes on this recording... Really thought it could have been better, but god knows how many nights they stayed in São Paulo that week, wheather was crazy then, till that morning it was freezin' cold and the days before weren't diffrent so I thought he could get caught by the crazy tropical wheather plus the dry air of a huge town like são paulo... great show overall

vi el show en Argentina y parecia q tocaban ante unos muertos, q onda argentina??... mal, muy mal, al igual q en esta presentación en brasil, el publico muy aburrido, solo el recital en chile, estuvo con un público entusiasta, claro q solo llegamos a ese show 400 fans, la banda estuvo genial y como siempre cercanos a los fans, quienes cantamos y saltamos durante todo ese recital del 13 de octubre de 2013.

Love the first album from this band. At that point i thought they could become the continuation of the hard rock reign from the late-eighties, early nineties... Unfortunately i was disappointed with their subsequent records, it is like they run out of song crafting. Still, that first record holds its ground along the likes of classic Bon Jovi, Black Crowes or Guns n Roses in my music collection.
Sorry, you feel this way, I disagree with you. I have all eight releases by them as of 2018. They write about Rock N Roll stuff. You also have to remember the album "15" saw a lineup change. Also, Josh & Keith worked in Velvet Revolver. You can hear one blues-based song on every album starting with "Black Butterfly". The slight change of the band is from the new band members.
The self title album is one of the greatest debut albums of any rock band. Top 20 albums of all time for me. Timebomb was pretty good too. 15 is where they started losing it but it still has some great songs. Yogi and Devon were missed. I saw them live in 2017ish and Josh had left the band a few weeks prior. That show SUCKED in comparison to those early 2000 shows. Band has never been the same since -P
