This video was shot last fall (2023)
Mike and I get together annually for a significant canoe trip.
This year we paddled the Mississasugi River.
We saw an old fort, Grey Owls cabin and had amazing peak fall colors on this historic Canadian River.

@shandelebroyles1099 he did say on video the canoe tripping videos don't do as well. It's hard to make $ on RU-vid if you aren't doing something outlandish and even though canoe tripping is awesome to us, the average person would rather watch something more entertaining to them like "Extreme Survival Camping at Walmart: Hidden for 36 hours behind the toilet paper in Aisle 9." That crap gets the clicks which makes the $, unfortunately, and is a big reason I've walked away from doing this myself.

Beautiful river and scenery. So pretty when the water was glassy smooth with reflection of trees. You're pretty good at maneuvering that long canoe thru those rocky waters, Joe. Looked like you had great weather. Glad Wolfie didn't get into a bad encounter with the moose. Great video.

It sure was great seeing good OL Mikie again, Little Joe! : ) Man, how the times fly, Bucko. Great system of teamwork and the video had a very relaxing and pleasant vibe to it. I have a new Stealth Van and am really looking forward to some extended Nomadic Living. If I'm able to do it for 5.5 years again, it's that very the country you explore Pal, that I'd love to finely scratch off this old guy's Bucket List. I had to reach out, I’m 72 and now live in Tennessee but in the 1960’s I stayed at Mississagi Lodge on Upper Green Lake when it was owned by the Kamin family of Lima, Ohio. That probably explains the Ohio boat from 1973. Went there a few times back then as my parents were good friends of the Kamins. Anyway, I’ve been a longtime subscriber. In the past few years we have done our trips over in Woodland Carribou both on Donald Lake and on Sabourin Lake. Thanks for all the great wilderness videos. I hope you read all your comments. -Jim

Did anyone else notice the tree design on the canoe looks like a forest regardless of whether the canoe is right-side up or upside down? Watch it when they're carrying it on a portage. I don't know if that was intentional, but I found it impressive.

Another great video to settle into and escape for an hour. 54:00 Wolfie is quite adept at hopping into the canoe. Like it's second nature. He even had a little hang time on his front paws as the canoe rocked then he dropped his hind legs.
