I like how despite the fact that Bucky has literally fought reality warping aliens from another dimension somehow the concept of wizards being real is too unbelievable for him.
@@sonicstar917Wait, what do you mean? Tony said he'd never imagine all of what's happened if you had told him years ago, sure, but now he's accepting that magic is now a thing, to some extent
I think it's more of a semantics thing, cause in the comics Hydra uses magic and technology interchangeably. He's probably met a few MCU magic users (bad guys that haven't shown up yet) and this is just the hat tip to that. Also he's aware Dr. Strange uses magic but called him a "sorcerer" as if it's different.
Notice how bucky stops staring by the end of the season. Like less and less. And like Bucky is finally happy. Hes like the cool uncle. Ughhh I love itttttt!,
@@AthenaGoddess yes exactly. He stares a lot in the last ep, but rather then a hard, boring holes through your skull stare, its softer. Especially towards Sam. Goes from glares to heart eyes.
I had the same question about the Ten Commandments as a kid. I didn't get why the "thou shalt not murder" came after the "thou shalt have no other gods before me" if respecting life is so important. Let's just say religious adults didn't like my logic. 😂
@@ghandimauler Fun fact, in dogs and cats it's done to offset their ears, to better allow them to pinpoint a sound they don't understand- usually because it's novel, so they can't assume where it came from.
sam and bucky have the best chemistry ever, it gets even funnier with zemo added lol. Anthony mackie and sebastian stan are actual friends too in real life, they should play a comedy movie together omg
@@kriscastillo2585 They were just drinking and talking. Normal man stuff. They were pretty nice to me but I didnt want to hang around too much. They were at new Orleans too.
Actually by textbook definition Doctor Strange is in fact a wizard because he learned his magic via academic means. Scarlet Witch is a sorcerer because she was born with her powers
@@hniangt2602 I watched it several times they barely imply that she had the powers before hand. Or at least to someone who doesn’t read the comics it came off slightly confusing. But why I said unless it’s different.
One of my favorite moments: “James, why does Sam aggravate you.” _Bucky grins_ “And don’t say something childish.” _ultimate betrayal and disappoint_ *And the* “I’ve always wanted to do that.” _Later_ “I’m sorry about redwing.” “No you’re not.”
How does a guy removing his average hair go from the most badass, serious person in marvel into a goofball??? Talking about Sebastian Stan... they look like two different people! TV and Movie version.
Idk why heels even exist they're so stupid and uncomfortable. Wore a pair once like 7 years ago and had foot cramps for like 3 days afterward (and they weren't the wrong size)
@@scathannagoodman3796 I understand they were first created for soldiers, specifically archers that rode on horse back. The heel was meant to lock into the stirrup so the rider could kinda squat and steady themselves for the purpose of aiming a bow while riding. In the same way douchebags now wear camo, it became fashionable for men to wear to wear military inspired garb. Women adopted it later because it accentuates legs, ass and posture. At least that's the version I was told 🤷♂️
@@kaioplayz1012 Falcon and Bucky are the best, they both have good combat, good planning, and really funny humour, Tony and Rhodes dont have good combat. Besides Tony’s repuslsors and Rhodes’ machine gun, they don’t have it like Falcon and Bucky.
mann i was watching like am i weird or is this shrink fucking awful?? she's so judgmental and not once places his behaviour in the actually studied mechanics of ptsd... lmao
@@MsDaem0n My man never recieved love and had no friends for so many decades that he actually appreciated her. I'm happy he finally has Sam. He's a good man and a certified councellor. He'll definitely be wayyy better of a help.
@@titliroy4713 The appreciation still seemed weird to me though. It seemed like something needed to tie everything off for a wholesome heart-warming Disney end. In other words, I think Bucky only appreciated her because the plot required him to. The end was presented as though he had "gotten over" the majority of his mental issues/he's feeling lots better now. First of all mental illness doesn't work that way, second if he really was "fixed" he would never appreciate her. He seemed genuinely annoyed with her (understandably so) and at no point did she make a suggestion that he could use to improve his life. That push (to serve rather than try to "mend") had to come from someone else. (So he would finally do the thing that would help him forward, namely tell the old man what really happened to his son. Which the therapist never even commented on.) (Also, serve rather than mend? How is that an appropriate message for someone who is the emotional equivalent of a torn up moldy sock? The only person he should consider serving and saving for the time being IS HIM. VERY toxic message for men: don't feel sorry for yourself but go be useful.) The therapist seemed to mainly be there to 1. expose that Bucky's life was/is shit and 2. set up opportunities for comic relief, especially comic relief that was demeaning to HIM ("The only person you called this week is me. That's sad." No lady you a bitch. Or repeatedly crossing his boundaries to put him under pressure. Or... yknow what im gonna stop here). It's a VERY unnerving pattern in the representation of mental health issues in men. Essentially the message is to just get over it, which every interaction with the "Doc" came down to. We didn't even see him really cry, which is where the actual catharsis would most likely be for him (acknowledging his vulnerability and fear, grief and loss of years of his life that he holds back behind an emotionless facade), except in Wakanda which was an actually good scene that Sebastian fucking ACED. And which was set 6 years AGO and understandably didn't "fix" him completely. We just saw his dead-inside thousand-yard stare and then he went to the old man, it finally got personal- oh shit a quick cut away, he helped the people in the fight (even though he's tired of fighting? or is that not relevant anymore? oh it would hold back the action-based plot? we ignoring it? oh ok) and then he was happy at the docks. Hmm. Now that I'm typing it out, it's just kinda obvious there's so much wrong with the Doc. Especially that threatening with the notebook... We didn't even get to WHY he had so much emotional trouble with the notebook! I think it could very well be a trigger considering... guess what... the Winter Soldier was controlled through a... hold on... notebook... that he wasn't allowed to access... HMMMM.... I enjoyed TFATWS but this was seriously messed up. Sorry for long a$$ reply.
@@MsDaem0n DO NOT BE SORRY. I agree with you on almost everything. The only real therapy Bucky really got was from Sam. Sam told him that he had to figure out who he was. That it didn't matter what Steve thought. And kept reminding him that Steve was gone, that he couldn't hold on to it. And that trying to right the wrong won't work. The thing I have an issue with is the serving part, yes it's wrong to say don't feel sorry for yourself, go serve. But given that his pain came from the fact that he hurt so many people, he wouldn't be able to feel better until he did some good. That's in tune with who Bucky Barnes fundamentally is. But that doesn't mean he needs to fight. And hopefully, he isn't going to fight against his will. Dealing with the flagsmashers was ending something he started and helping Sam and a lot of people. So that worked for him. As for the therapist, I can assure you, if I had her, I would throw hands and end up going TWS without _any_ trigger words. Hopefully, his vacation with Sam continues long enough before he gets dragged into another fight. He shouldn't have to fight, but his powers have put a certain responsibility onto him, especially now that he cares so much about Sam. Bucky thrives on being the protector, being the Winter Soldier took that away from him, so I hope next time he gets dragged in a fight, he's on the heroic end of it.
@@user-rl7zq2ms7i It's awful to know that this is reality. I don't know much to actually comment on it. I just felt really annoyed with her, because that's how I used to talk to my friends whenever they told about their emotional issues. I was like 17-18 and I accidentally pushed someone so far with that attitude that they couldn't talk to me. If a teen with teenage issues felt that way I shudder to think how a traumatized war veteran would feel like. Especially when they're someone like Bucky. Of the few good things that Walker did was getting Bucky away from the horrible therapist. It would have taken Bucky wayy too long to feel slightly better if he kept going to her constantly.
I never would've thought to put Sam, Bucky, and Zemo together, but they're absolutely hilarious. So glad they got a show together, their dynamic is immaculate
I love them so much. We need to see them together in more asap. They could honestly have a multi season tv series together and everyone would love it, eat it up. And as many Captain America movies with Sam as Cap as there was with Steve as Cap in as many years (what was it, 3 movies in 5 years?).
@@Shadow-yc7yy yes, I'm still not going to get my hopes up until Marvel confirms it themselves. But it would be very nice, especially since it seems it would be written by the same writers as the show, so it would more then likely not only have Bucky in it, but have the same feel in regards to their friendship and everything in it.
"Can you move your seat" "No" "Couldn't you have done that earlier?" "I hate you" "Remember?I took your wings so you could save his ass from his ass" My fav lines
well he did broke the avengers, killed t'challa's father and indirectly aided thanos. still the show made us somehow empathize him which is why this show was awesome
Bucky is by far the best character. He had to overcome tragedy & loss. He & Steve personify unconditional friendship. This is something we can all relate to. Winter Soldier & Civil War were two of the best films in my opinion. Also The Falcon & the Winter Soldier was amazing. It looked at current social & cultural issues without forcing a propagandized view on the audience. Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie & Daniel Brühl all excelled in their roles too. They nailed it.
This was great. Sam and Bucky always had great comedic chemistry, and this just highlights all of that. Heh. Plus I was wondering how you'd slip Strange in this, forgot they gave you an opening!
Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Hawkeye still remain my favorite Marvel Disney Plus shows. I really can't wait until New World Order just so I can see more of these two together. It's just too funny without having to try to be funny
I love these two. That said, I also think these two actors are a couple of the best in the marvel verse. The part where Bucky says that if Steve was wrong about Sam then he was wrong about Bucky is heartbreaking.
when Bucky smiles at the therapist, it reminded me of Christina Ricci in "Addams Family Values" when she was forced to watch Disney movies to brighten her mood...
I saw the first episode of "FATWS" and I dont like it so much, but when I saw this amazing edit 🔥❤🔥 my opinion changed, I think that right now I will go see all the episodes😅
I loved this series. I laughed, I cried. Gasp in surprise, and shook my head "I knew that was coming". Can't wait to watch again. Sam and Bucky are great. Isaiah Bradley, it may have been a fictional story here, but I'm sure there are plenty of true ones like this. Excellent addition to this show. Shows there are hidden heroes everywhere.
Zemo, Bucky, and Sam was not the team I thought I would want but it was so entertaining. Enjoyed Falcon and the Winter Soldier a lot more than I thought I would
Why are people so into the white wolf name? I thought it was just a nickname the Wakandans gave him. Does Bucky actually identify as that in the comics?
the n O t E b O o k T h I n G The flow of these scenes is so good! And thank you for picking music that accentuates the scenes instead of covering them.
