but acc to some texts it is mentioned that women are prohibited to enter SANGH as well as status of buddha after his death or in future. It was only limited to the male members. please explain this

new form of bhudism known as vajrayana lead to this.. because many things are happening with woman in bhuddism due to corrupt practices.. the bhudda reported to have said to his favorite disciple ananda "if women were not admitted into monasteries bhuddism would have continued for thousand years and it lasted in india only for 500 years later it declined

the main causes of decline were 1). monks cut off from mainstream and embraced luxrious life style 2) persecuted by Huna king Mihirakula which was a shiva worshipper 3) they started becoming corrupt. all such factors lead to decline of buddhism
