Buddy Love (Eddie Murphy) demonstrates his anti-fat research pitch to a 'rich dummy'.
The Nutty Professor (1996): Eddie Murphy gives the "performances" of his career playing no less than seven roles in this uproarious Jekyll-and-Hyde comedy from Imagine Entertainment. Murphy stars as Dr. Sherman Klump, a kind, "calorically-challenged" genetics professor who longs to shed his 400-pound frame in order to win the heart of beautiful Jada Pinkett. In here, B1ck guy is the genious smart scientist that invents revolutionary stuff. We know in reality who is steve jobs, zuckerberg, musk, newton and the people that did stuff. That same fountain with Buddy in it got infested with different types of DNA/germs (a toddler's barf, a dog's thirsty tongue, some drunken hobo taking a p!ss, etc), an endless population of naked Buddy Loves all of a sudden came running out of the fountain (with many diverse genetic traits of different people and animals) and start taking over the world. Sherman invents this green serum that will vaporize the Buddies from existence, and every time he drinks it, he clones himself as a reverse effect. There is also another hilarious nightmare scene where Sherman is Neo and the Buddies are Agent Smith clones. Parodying that one fight scene from The Matrix Reloaded.

One thing to note about the Formula is that it only turns the fat cells off and Replaces with an inhumanly high testosterone level that can create an entirely separate personality. Also there’s no guarantee it can shut them off permanently as Buddy claimed later in the movie. Fat cells can’t just go away no matter how much you manipulate them, so eventually they’ll find a way to come out. What this means is that the longer you use the formula you may develop elephantitus, tumors etc in either your feet, face, etc. If this formula were to be made public there would be untold chaos on the streets.

@@johnwilliams7931 because it’s apart of your body. You could work out and lose weight, but the fat cells are still goin to be in your body. Same deal here however it’s manipulated to other areas while it’s being replaced by an extreme high testosterone level. So since the fat cells are not gone, just turned off this could mean the side effects upon repeated use of the formula could result in serious disfigurement, and organ failure due to the fat cells lingering in those areas for a prolonged period of time. Buddy claimed he could permanently turn them off if he took high dosage of the formula in different times, but we never see if it worked, and even if it did eventually those cells are going to resurface one way or another.

The testosterone level is so high from replacing the fat cells it creates an entirely new personality that can take over your life. Upon repeated use there’s no telling just how unstable the formula could be. It doesn’t get rid of the fat cells, it just manipulates in other areas, so one way or another those cells are gonna come back and cause serious bodily harm. We even see in the sequel that even if you are no longer using the formula the personality still lingers and would require very serious psychological help for a long time. Even though it’s a comedy movie, it implies that if Buddy were to win and distribute the formula to the public it would cause unimaginable chaos on the streets.
