In this video I will walk through our 200 Series Landcruiser build. Watch as i discuss our build and how we saved on certain items. We have taken this car around Australia for over 80,000kms in 18 months and have tested this vehicle to breaking point.
Don't forget we have Merchandise for sale, jump over to our Facebook or Instagram Pages and send us a message.

Love those Kenda Klever RTs. They wore like iron on my GX460. Ran 275/70R18s (33.5") on the factory wheels and enjoyed them on and off road. Pretty tame noise levels for the amount of grip they offer. Also have a set of their 31" ATs on my GX470 for daily driving. They seem to wear a little faster but they are winter rated so thats expected with that compound.

They are an OK tyre, I had to replace 3 in 80,000kms but they were all sidewall damage... perhaps overloaded?? We also did do a lot of rocky terrain and dirt roads so may e that is acceptable ;) glad ur having a good run with yours 🍻🍻

@@DucruznOZbummer! You are probably really giving them a workout though. I had one replaced early on after picking up a bolt in the sidewall. Tire shop said it was unrepairable but we had road hazard coverage so it cost me $20. I did however not tow so I can't speak to running higher pressures. Just had a massive Tuff Stuff Alpha roof top tent and loaded with camping gear to the gills for 5 day trips off grid in some pretty gnarly areas like Big Bend State Park and some off-road park shenanigans. Aired down to 18-20psi and they did well even with sharp rocks in Colorado. Sometimes we are just unlucky. I felt like I went through an entire set of MTR Kevlars in a year. All sidewall failures after friends swore by them. Each time the had zipper rips in a bad place to have a flat 😂

Great review, good setup. Question how did you go with rear axle weight/load when the van was on, long range tank filled, and rear cargo + fridge filled?
@DucruznOZ
@DucruznOZ Год назад
Cheers mate, I think i am pretty much on the limit for axle/diff load as it sits now... I forgot to mention that we do have airbags in the rear also, so we towing they get pumped up to assist with load share/levelling.... 😎😎
@brettbarrett7670
@brettbarrett7670 Год назад
@@DucruznOZ I suspect you would be over when hitched. Our 200 is set up very similar to yours and with 280kg on the towball we went over rear axle load. Not an easy problem to solve here in WA, nor a cheap exercise to undertake .
@DucruznOZ
@DucruznOZ Год назад
@@brettbarrett7670 yeah QLD are a pain in the rear end when it comes to those sort of things, luckily we have finished up and big full time travel so our car and van will never be fully loaded again 👌👌😎😎

What damage are you talking about for the CB? It's a spring it won't be damaged by movement...
@DucruznOZ
@DucruznOZ Год назад
We had a GME adjustable base on it and the corrugations flogged it out big time, the whole aerial would flop around... also the inside of that style aerial fell apart on one due to all the corrugations so we just use the small one or take it off if we aren't using it..... just from our own experience that's all 😎
@ausguy4385
@ausguy4385 Год назад
@DucruznOZ attached to the roof instead of the bull bar does amazing difference in distance/range and same for movement. That's why you see the bull bar move everywhere and the cars still level and fine
