I went to home bargains today and had a little Christmas food shop of my own. I had a great time. I got some bits as gifts and for hampers. I'm also giving a good snack selection to my sister who is having major hip surgery in two weeks. I thought a stockpile of nice snacks might lift her spirits considering its her second operation this year.

That’s a massive Home Bargains - ours is much smaller but we have a massive B&M by us so I tend to go there as it’s bigger, better parking etc….

Would so much enjoy more Christmas snack shopping because we don't have any of that in the states. Just got back to Ohio from Florida and probably left a hundred dollars worth of snacks at my daughters lol. They have different stores than us so I went a bit overboard lol.

Cant get anything good like that here for xmas . The xmas shop triples and not a big variety of snacks and sweets . €9 for a box of quality street i know imported stuff but i swear they put prices up even more here . Would love that tube of oreos 😍

Oooh the chocolate rice cakes reminded me of a recipe I saw on Instagram. Spread plain rice cakes with a layer of nut butter, put them in the freezer until they’ve chilled down then top with a layer of melted chocolate and a sprinkle of crushed peanuts and seasalt then pop them back in the fridge/freezer to set.

I went to home bargains yesterday am 29 weeks pregnant now a s we went to a 4d scan and then popped in omg it was brutal was packed I gave up I'll definitely stick to going during the week 😂

Did you know mine pies there are I'm guessing made with fruit? Correct me if I'm wrong. But here in the USA we see them as meat pies more then fruit. Most pies on Americans tables for Thanksgiving and Christmas are pumpkin and pecan pie, peach cobbler for Thanksgiving. But Christmas is apple, blackberry & cherry pie. As well as cookies and cakes. Then the Chocolate pudding & lemon meringue pies. ❤😊 But top pies are pumpkin and pecan.

You're correct! Mince pies in the UK are traditionally sweet and filled with a mixture of dried fruits and spices, rather than actual meat. It's interesting to hear about the American holiday pie traditions, with pumpkin, pecan, and fruit pies being popular choices 😋💚

Coming live from the sofa as last week i was in high care with urosepsis and nasty kidney infection and got a nasty urine infection been on iv antibiotics nine days and now on oral antibiotics but watched your videos whilst on hospital and now enjoying watching them back at home all snuggled up. 💖

Hi Joyce 💚 Luckily we have the Famisafe app which monitors JoJo's screen time, as it can add up if we're not careful. The amount of screen time can vary especially if we're out for the day. If we're having a day in and we're not busy I (Katie) love to be in the kitchen playing around with all sorts of ingredients and recipes! I love making my own chocolate and figuring out how to make it healthy, also we like playing board games like "Ticket to ride" (I guess that only applies if Andrew wants to play too). If you like reading, I found quite a good book called Atomic Habits, which I've really enjoyed. JoJo is sitting with me right now and he said a fun thing to do is playing games against yourself like chess and scrabble. Sending big love to you in the Netherlands 💚

I have a really unique video idea for you that could be for the Christmas period or at anytime of year. Its a shopping challenge where two people have the same shopping/scavenger list and a set budget in a set time frame. They have to race against each other to tick off as many items as possible. It can be filmed in a shopping centre so they have multiple places to source the items. Some can be things like something beginning with s or something red. Other items might be things to do like take a selfie in a lift or film yourself going the plank for 20 seconds in public or shouting beans.

Such a fun video! Katie your face was such a picture before rushing for the wafers 😂 That's my face when i find out you've uploaded and im rushing for my tablet to watch it!
