Thanks for reviewing budget lesser known products! Over here in my country, well known products like iridium, hx stomp, acs1, cost a lot of money. So reviews like this shows that budget products does the job well too.

Coming with a longer comment, man this video is like honey, first of all this is definetly a must buy for me, so great job on reviewing it, probably my favourite pedal so far out of them, we ll se about it when the secret pedal is introduced! And then, im pretty much a photographer/videographer, and you ve got some good ways of filming everything on this channel. Keep it up, you deserve far more subs!

I've used this pedal for little less than a year and I am pretty satisfied with the sound I am getting. You definitely did an awesome job demonstrating this pedal, especially sound combinations that I haven't thought about!

I like the way lower priced items are featured in here. I think it shows that when you apply time, work with sound options, you can most things really work well without breaking the bank

im play guitar and lead worship also.. i just changed from years of using multi effects to separate pedals.. im looking for pedals that can go straight to PA without amp.. watching your video gives me a better ubderstanding of how to setup my pedals..

This pedal is my favorite so far. I want to get a cab/amp sim to run Direct but still use my pedalboard so this looks like a great option. The Westminster also looked good but only has the one amp sim. This looks cool with the three tube choices and multiple cab and mic choices. Very cool! The Atlantic also got my interest but this is more needed in my setup. One question, could you plug headphones into the output for quiet at home practice?

There's a little headphone 🎧 icon on the TS-out in photos (NUX website) so I would guess yeah, you can! It also says "stereo" - I thought this was a mono unit!

That delay looks awesome! I don't have a ton of money to buy pedals so the delay I have is minimal. The NU-X delay looks and sounds awesome for the great price. I am also a huge fan of stereo sounds. Would love a video going in-depth of different ways you would utilize the stereo delays. Is one always on and one is song dependant, or is one a dotted eighth and one is quarter? I'd just love examples and an explanation. Would you run them to separate amps? Really awesome line of pedals though.

Yes...just have to make sure the it's set to the correct output on the dip switch in the back for that application

I didn’t know that tubes had eq in them, I always thought that tubes were just power/volume. Edit: I did notice that you made reference to the tubes as “more power and edge of break up”, 👍

I haven't been able to compare...but I know the Tech21 stuff is really good quality. This unit is more budget friendly. If I had both I could do a shootout, but I don't at the moment

Love your channel. I do have to say I think you’re still misusing this pedal. It seems to me like you’ve used it as the equivalent of just running a OD into an IR in the Stomp. Something that’s probably not going to yield ideal results since you’re missing the actual Amp portion of the equation. The Preamp section is what gives the tone it’s character. I’d be interested to see the pedal used basically to replace the IR block in a Stomp patch. Maybe even using one of the Preamps from the Stomp run into the NuX.

I use it with a Mesa V Twin Pre in front and it blew the torpedo out of my pedalboard in an instant!!! Pure amp like tone on a PA

When the Ace of Tone becomes available, you should take a look at that. Seems pretty cool, a TS & Bluesbreaker combo. Did you have the HX stomp IRs on? Wouldn't it be better to run the Stomp into the NUX for some overdrive/other effects into the NUX??

Hmm.. I might just get one of these and run it with a Nux Duotime and then into two Vox Pathfinder 15Rs in a stereo/dual delay/ping-pong set up....

Proplem is that the amp dont have an FX send/return so the signal has to go in to standard guitar input and amp on clean sttings, or, I have to mod the amp and add a passive FX insert... Or third option, ditch my two amps and use my existing pair of Adam A7X monitors, even though I would see this as my least attractive option.

I like all the connection options but curious why the tube types would be labeled as a tone difference. That would make me suspicious of their marketing strategy. It’s all good if that’s what they are doing, maybe for people who relate the sounds of amps by their tube types….but I’m pretty sure the tube types are more amplifying (as you stated, “louder”) than they are actually doing any tonal changes. I’m sure millions will disagree. Good review. I guess at the end of the day a little better snake oil is just fine as long as it sounds good.😂 edit: I may being reading it wrong.

I almost got this but went with the simplifier. It does everything this and the Iridium does. Sure I can’t download IR’s but I just dialed in my sound and I’ve been good to go. Plus it has an effects loop and is all analog.

@@mattgilbert7347 I haven't noticed any issues with it. I honestly got it because it was cheaper than the Iridium. I really haven't messed with the effects loop a ton. I did so much research before I bought it. You won't find that perfect pedal. I want to try the NUX Solid Studio. I know people swear by the NX stomp but I like simple. No crazy deep dive menus or using computers to edit and load. Also, I needed something for quiet practice at home and the headphone and AUX in make that possible. The ASC is nice but expensive as you stated.

@@HeyWorshipLeader It’s not personal. I was just having a bad day and RU-vid kept bringing churchy videos into my search. I’m not in the book club, and I get grossed out by prosperity gospel trash. I took it out on you, even though yours was probably the 4th or 5th video that had come across my stream in the last few weeks with the “worship” word in the title. I overreacted because I just wanted to see reviews on the NUX stuff from actual users without a financial agenda, and somehow the religious agenda seemed even more abrasive to me. I’m sorry. You have done a nice job with your editing and your presentation. Like a lot of contemporary Americans, I tend to lump all religious people together by their hypocrisy. Maybe you’re not like that, and if that’s the case, carry on, you’re one of the good ones.
