Hi Pete! You're only a couple hours from me! I'm glad you found this video helpful! I'm all about saving a few bucks where possible too. I would say something like these heat presses would be the exception to that though. I would recommend sticking with new just because I've read that the used ones can have cosmetic damages and/or package damages. I'd hate for you to receive a dud. At least you know that you can return it if there's issues when you buy it new, direct from the BetterSub seller on Amazon rather than a third party. I would also recommend HTV called Siser Easyweed. You can buy it as Michales but it's definitely more expensive than buying from other places. RQC Supply in Woodstock has great prices and they ship fairly quickly, or you can road trip down and typically pick up same day. I'm working on getting a coupon code for everyone to save from there since I shop there all the time, but I don't have one just yet! Hopefully soon :) I hope this helps!

@@zab82a I bought this press and I use it for HTV and I've done lots of hoodies. I use the same time and temperature for all shirts (t-shirts/crewnecks/hoodies). 305º for 15 seconds with a heat resistant sheet. After the time is up I remove the carrier sheet and put the heat resistant sheet back and then do another 15 seconds. It works well. I'm using Gildan shirts and Siser vinyl. The thing I don't like about this press is that the bottom plate doesn't slide out so when I'm putting the shirt in the press to get ready I have to be close to the lid that's hot (I use oven mitts when it's a hoodie because it's more bulky). I like the presses where the bottom plate slides out. But the press itself has been really good, no issues with it. I hope this helps!

Hi Susann!! The spot where you set the temperature has a little screen for time and a little screen for temperature so you just look at those and you’ll see the numbers climb until it’s reached the desired temperature, then it will stay there. So just periodically check the screens 🥰💜

@@TheFoiledPlan thanks so much for the explanation. It's like my oven..lol although it does chirp when it reaches it's temp, it also shows it...I was waiting for your response, then I'm getting it. I did one shirt with my iron, and most of it was fine, but I don't have the strength to give it that firm press....and this one is reasonably priced! Thank you so much..you are a joy to watch and giggle with....

Hi Jacki! They may add new sizes in the future but for now this one is just in the 15x15 size 😁

I believe they have new colours coming soon, I’m not sure if green is one of them but I’ll keep everyone updated on Instagram as I see them released!
