ahhh bags...I wanted the LV Neverful MM until I watched my friends fail, get sent for 6 months to France for repair only to have it returned in the same condition. After that I said No LV. I love my boutique Coach bags as well as some of the outlet versions. They are much easier on my wallet and none have failed to date. Just purchased a Brahmin and camt wait to receive it...I love bags at $500 or less

All great suggestions! I think asking yourself what you plan to do the most with your luxury bag helps determine if you want something more practical or more unusual. Someone who goes to a lot of formal events or social events might get more joy from a bag that is less practical.

I'm so glad you mentioned the coffee table books! That's one that was a big first step purchase for me. And I agree the packaging is a beautiful touch BUT if you are just in it for the book, you can even find those at places like TJMaxx! I picked up a LV book from TJMaxx for $50!

I love Donney and Bourke. I do have several Coach bags as well and they hold up. My Donney and Bourke bags are very affordable ,come in a variety of colors and are on sale a lot. I have two LVs. One new and one preloved. I also have matching wallets. They are very nice. I got burned from The Real Real. The item condition was not as described and I had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get a refund.

I would suggest save for a bag. I wanted a LV Medium Neverful. Moved on to LV wallet. Then had to have a LV Neverful in the GM size. Then I move on and save.

I only use RU-vid on my computer. There you just go to youtube.com (RU-vid's home page which is also your home page when you're logged in) or click the RU-vid logo in upper left corner. If you're on a phone or other device maybe someone else here can help. You can also access community posts by going to the community tab when you're on a RU-vidr's page.
