If you want to see how it handle with games. CHECK out my gaming channel - ru-vid.com/show-UC_GR3BhyAygToQqSG0Q67hQ - i play GTA FiveM, Fornite, PUBG, GT Sport, American Truck sim. & etc
While it seems you are illiterate in some of your computer lingo you have made one of the most down to earth, easy to understand, and best videos that I've seen on this subject.
You were saying about graphics cards: I put in a super cheap 710 when I first bought my 8300 and it ran GTA much nicer than I expected. Got a 1650 now and it does rdr2 well enough for me. I love all these home made channels, it's the real spirit of youtube, stay safe and well mate
@@nextgenbruh1239I have a 240w psu so it should be ok. This HP page links to useful pdf manuals for the elite 8300 support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-compaq-elite-8300-small-form-factor-pc/5232852/manuals
You did great young blood don't worry about comments of those who are rude. People like that are the same ones who correct a person's speech when they damn well understood the message, Thank you.
I put this exact setup together from watching these videos. So thanks for that man. The biggest issue I’ve noticed is the case gets very hot. It’s never overheated but the case and fan have terrible airflow. Once I installed the ssd it was a different computer
I have the micro tower of this pc. Mines a hp elite 8300, with an i5 3570, 8gb ram. I got it for $80, and put a gtx 1650 in it and it works great! It looks like an ssd is next up on my list tho, i didnt think it would make that big of a difference
@@Shakeem yeah, that totally caught me off guard lol. Ill definitely be picking one up as soon as i can. Good stuff, man. I love these types of videos. Im still learning a lot about pc's as well
i have a 1050 ti in my gaming pc at my dads and can get stable 144 to 240 fps depending on graphics settings and it also is i7 with 16g of ram and a SSD
bro I have the same computer, I got it for christmas and most people say it's bad. But if what you're telling me is true I can upgrade it and just make it use more of the graphics card instead of the pc itself to run higher demanding games on my pc. So that means I can turn it into a gaming pc :D
Just bought this pc on amazon its faster then my old PC at 3.90 ghz and 32 gb ram and 2 TB u don't need a SSD unless you be running games like the new elder scrolls or heavy games but games like sims 4 and genshin (what I play) you'll be fine oh right it's i7 Intel too
I feel you about knowing a little bit. I know alot about older computers. ( pentium 3 800mhz ) and older down to 486 dx2/33 or dx2/66. April of this year they helped me out and put together a decent gaming pc. All i needed to do was get an ssd, a video card, and a gaming keyboard. Everything is so sleak it was awesome, but so confusing. My buddy noticed and did something neat. The tower is from an old late 90s or early 2000s. So it looks old. But with those items like the graphics card. A 350g ssd and a 4tb hdd. And an asus 1070gtx 6gb card. Its better then i ever imagined. I was talking with my friend and letting him know how awesome it is. And he said that my pc is mid tear. Not even high end yet. That surptised me
@@Shakeem ya man. Om just getting back into youtube vids. Would love to get a few pointers from you and in the future. I would love to reference your channel. If thats ok. I have a few live streams on my channel with the ps4. ( note that i am now living alone so quality will be much better this time )
You need to organize you're apps, delete aren't ethical conducting . If you need to store extra data. Downloaded offline apps to store extra data. Restart your computer maybe or do some research and you'll find answers according to what interest in you/passion.
@SnappyJon Iv'e got the GTX 1650 with a 240W PSU and it can run modern games on high settings between 50-60 fps on Full HD. Definitely feeling the improvement, before I couldn't even run on anything other than 1280x720p
Yo dude I just upgrade my pc from go elite 8300 now a custom pc r5 2600 gtx 1650 2 ssd one boot and storage and 450w psu its so fast and is so fun to play on
He is on the right the path. But it is Ram that will make everything gaming etc fact: Then/will be more efficient. Anything over/depends on Data memory at least 8gb convert to 16gb of Ram. Now that what makes prosser faster/run/ well.
So oddly I just want to do one simple thing, i'm not trying to make this into a hardcore gaming device but I really like playing the fighting engine M.U.G.E.N so it interests me with the idea of having one dedicated device to hook up to play on my big screen tv.... Mugen .. So I looked into this device to hopefully fit that. Anyhow currently I ordered an HP Elite 8300 with an i5 3rd Gen with 16gb RAM and 256GB SSD. I assume I should be good with that.
probs gonna get the same set up from your recommendations! one question though, with ssd do i need to pre install windows 10 on it? thanks in advance keep up the good work
You're lucky you have it. Mine has been stuck out for delivery since last week around Monday and all they keep saying from UPS is delay after delay. I'm so mad right now, I want to play with my new computer. I think the Amazon gpu I bought on Friday will get here before the computer at this rate.
I already have a SSD on my older computer and it's already fairly fast but the Samsung SSD makes it much better for sure, I'm migrating it over when I get my HP Elite.
bro add a mdot 2 ssd way faster than the regular ssds make sure when you build ur new pc to have a motherboard that supports mdots 2 ssds but love the setup
I followed your build a few months ago and my 8300 with 1050ti is great... But now I want to build another with gtx 1650 low profile cause I heard that is slightly better for vr and will still fit and will work with oculus rift s a little better... What do you think? So far your advice has been good. But I also wonder if a bigger optiplex tower would be any better? But I do like the sff really,,,
What kind of ssd did you use I’m going to make the same build I like how the games look on there but I don’t know anything about computers I’ve learned a lot from your videos but I’m not sure what ssd to get
i’m buying a budget pc and it’s the 8200 while the one your showing is 8300. it’s has 2tb hard drive and 8gb ram with windows 10 pro. is that a good pc?
@@Shakeem it doesn’t have a graphics card but that ight. i found another one that has gtx 1060 and 16gb ram and intel i5 but he says that the windows 10 only runs on the 240gb ssd while he has another 500hdd with a 500w power supply
Hey 👋 so, i have found a refurbished one on Amazon. $ 97 so, all i want it for mostly is to edit my utube videos. Kinda a shop computer! Also, so far i have edited my videos on my phone for uploading. What would you suggest as a free (or almost free) edition software for doing this. Im still going to use.my phone for filming... Just want to be able to edit better! Also, lol and i think you for your time, is a webcam decent enough to do videos at my desk and have a decent quality? Thanks 🙏
I'm a straight noob and found this PC on best buy and found your video on RU-vid while I was trying to figure out whether or not it's good. Upgrading to SSD is a must, on this PC is it difficult at all? I want to upgrade to a better graphics card, and SSD :•)
thank you for the vid cuz i’m thinking of getting one and I got a question. You got the pc and then the ssd, do you need any other pc parts to add to the pc? i’m new to pc computer stuff too
Hello, I have a question. I’m buying this pc so I can edit, is this good for editing?? I have 1tb, 256 ssd, 16gb ram, windows 10 64 bit, intel core i7.
I’m getting mine In the next month can it run gta 5 I want to play on role playing servers and I want to start a gaming channel too I really hope you don’t give up bro stay strong 💪
Btw I just realized I don’t have enough money to get the graphics card I’m going to get the i7 bundle deal thing do you think it would still play gta 5 on all low settings same with fortnite
Keemborghini okay thanks I super glad I found you because I’m 16 and I don’t how to save up for like a 700 to 1000 dollar pc and then save up for all the gaming equipment thanks bro I’ll try out some games and see how it goes
Keemborghini I just watch you play on the gaming channel gta 5 rp sever that’s cool do you think we could play some time if not I understand I’m a legit role player and I want go start a gaming channel too
Listen, I have a question, is this computer good to play when I add a good graphics card? And how long will it last, whether it will die after 2 months or will it serve for many years. My specs: I5 2400 3.4 GHz 8 GB of RAM HDD + SSD 250 120 And I want to buy a GT 1030 Will there be enough for gta 5, for example?
I would upgrade your ram. And my sister have a 8100 using a 1030 low profile card and it plays fine for her. I’ve had my 8300 for about 3 years now. And it works fine
@@Shakeem Hey, thanks for the answer, but I have one more question if the computer has any cuts sometimes in the game, e.g. 60 fps but there is a cut and suddenly 15 fps and it returns to 60 again and will it work well with the gtx 1050 Ti?
Is this the same pc HP Elite Desktop PC Computer | Intel Quad-Core i5 | 8GB Ram | 1TB HDD | 24 Inch LCD Monitor (1080p HDMI), RGB Keyboard + Mouse | Desk Speakers | WiFi + Bluetooth | Windows 10
Yo I got a question bout the processor, I got the same build but my processor is i5-2400 2.5ghz, you think I should be fine adding a 1050 ti to it or do you think I will run into some issues
@@Shakeem i m buying hp elite 8300 gtx 1050 i 5 3470 😊 it s lot better than the pc that i have but do you need to buy anything Else to the pc... Like Windows or More hdd or ssd
Hey bro what about if I wanna use it for editing Adobe premiere pro and after effects software will it run smoothly???? I just need this kind of computer for doing editing coz I have low budget
Please if anyone sees this I cannot get mine to come on.... refurbished just got out of the box.. blinking 4 times and then pauses for 2 seconds cannot figure out what is wrong..pleeeeeze anyone I need for work
Will the MSI Geforce GTX 1050 ti single fan work in this system? Because the low profile 1050 ti tends to be more expensive than the normal 1050 ti in my country.
I'm new to pc's and bought this one for about $230 its hella slow and I'm not sure what to do, so I thought I might try and upgrade it. Where do you think I start / what should I upgrade to make it less slower?
@@Shakeem I'm going to use it for work, and for my nephews to play light games like roblox or whatever. Also, do you think I should buy an ssd? And just install it in the computer?
Sorry if I have another question I’m doing the same thing your doing, a budget build. So when you put the graphics card in the pc, do you use vga or hdmi or both to pair to the monitor?
What is the best for the price and more upgradable hp prodesk 400 g4 sff hp prodesk 600 g1 hp elitedesk 800 g1 hp elite 8300 cuz i saw hp prodesk 400 g4 sff for like $175 the specs are i5 6th gen 8gb ram ddr4
I go this PC and GPU for free, but I am concerned the PSU is not powerful enough for it, have you noticed nay skipping in games, my Forza Horizon 3 on medium settings is skipping frames, but it may be the poor i5 3.2 to 3.6 Ghz CPU. Any thoughts would be appreciated? :)
I might get it to run oculus link. The one I might get has an: i7 3770 processor 8gb ram 256GB ssd And I’m putting in a 1050 ti gpu The oculus link requirements are: i5 4590 processor 8gb ram And the gpu will work It should work right? I just wanted to know if it’s not powerful enough or something.
It’s ready to run games. Get a graphics card that’s compatible and your good to go. I got mine from Amazon. But you can pick one up everywhere. New egg, Amazon, ebay, etc
Nice. Thanks for sharing. I used to got 8300 sff, but i sold it because in need of money at that time. And now, i got it, with better processor. I just wonder if i could install intel xeon on this sff. Xeon, ssd, nvme bootable, that will make it lighter than air. Anyone with better idea? I am not into gaming, since just work from home, just for work and home use.
