Great video! I used that same backpack and a Wal-mart tent on my Big Bend trip in November 2020 and 2021. I had to carry 6 litters of water for the 3 day hike. The backpack carried the extra weight just fine. I will have to check out that quilt for sure.

Very through presentation, budget friendly and covers all of the essentials needed for a backpacking trip. I prefer the larger Sawyer for water filtration due to the Sawyer mini taking longer to filter water. Overall, a great video and presentation is PERFECT!

I apologize I didn't see your comment sooner. Yes I just carried the Walmart pack on a trip 4 weeks ago and the pack from Amazon last weekend. I think the Amazon one has an edge but both have their merits. Thanks for your comment !
