People don’t deserve to suffer just because they’ve got some debt. People have to have something to enrich their lives. I think you guys are doing great.
When someone complains about the way you spend money link quarter one and quarter two debt update 😂🥳 you guys are doing awesome . That is the wonderful thing about a budget ❤
I think the way you are budgeting is great! Still paying alot towards your debt. By funding your sinking funds you are making sure you're not going back into debt by being caught off guard with the expense. I heard another RU-vidr say "it's not my kids fault we are in debt so they shouldn't be punished for it".
@@thesimplebudgetI agree 💯 percent , your kids are only kids once and my theory was when my son was young was that I wanted him to be able to think back on his childhood with only good thoughts , mission achieved …
I found your page on accident! And, I am happy I did! After listening to your explanation to the naysayers, I subscribed IMMEDIATELY!!! It also helps that I like your style of budgeting as well😂
Thank you for being so honest. I love your budget. If you are walking into the right direction, follow your plan that works for you. I just start my cash stuffing and budgeting. I have no debt but I'm trying control my spending healthily. I'm trying to find the best system for my budgeting. Your video really inspires me!
I really enjoyed your discussion about how you are ensuring your personal finances are "personal" and that, despite DR's recommendations, there has to be some flexibility in how you approach finances! Thanks for sharing your budget!
Hi Vada, that's an amazing budget. The fact that you and your Hubby put in over 25% of your income into paying off debt while at the same time giving your family what they need and want is amazing. Going to extreme on any end is not a good thing and I'm happy to see that your budget works for your family. Your videos are such a great help and I learn something new with each one-thank you for that!
I only budget paycheck to paycheck, and just did the first of August. After looking up my utility bill I wanted to cry!!!! I’m ready for cooler weather so the A/C isn’t running constantly.
I don’t really care where they spend their money. I just don’t think they should say they are following Dave Ramsey steps because they are not by any stretch of the imagination. Sorry I had to post under your comment, but there was no area for me to post a separate comment.
Louise, it really is Not your business to say that!!! If they want to follow it to the letter or use pieces of it… IT’s THEIR CHOICE! She can say, do , how ever the heck she wants… if you don’t like that … TOO BAD! find the door… good grief!! Someone must of pee peed on your Cheerios! Bless your heart!
“by any stretch of the imagination” ??? we are tho. we’ve saved an emergency fund, and we’ve paid down our debt by nearly $20k since january. we’re not following his protocol to the tee, but i can assure you that the progress we’ve made is because we’re taking his advice and applying it to our budget.
New subscriber love your budget. At the end of the day you have to do what’s best for your family you shouldn’t have to defend yourself. Thanks for sharing.
So you did the zero based budget. Do you actually have different accounts for these or is it just on paper and you track the spending per category that way?
Channels like these are the reason why I started mine. Thank you so much I created my first video yesterday if anybody wants to check it out it’s more like a introduction but I plan on doing cash stuffing’s in talking about credit cards and banks in all the fun and get stuff that we should know.
I don't think you should need to defend your choice. You're doing great! Also great with the sinking funds to ensure that you live well within your means without more debt. I've said it before, but you are doing amazing.
Hi love you ( miss your husband today😂) I totally believe that you do what is best for you and your family please ignore the person that cannot respect the fact the way you manage your money is your business. Keep up 🎉
How do you break up your paychecks if they run over to the next month? (Ex Paid biweekly on July 28th and it runs until the next paycheck on August 11) Budgeting paycheck to paycheck makes more sense to me because I don’t understand how to break mine up between the months 😅
that’s a great question and one i wish i would have been able to include in my budget with me 😩 for things like that, we just make sure that we’re funding expenses like groceries and gas into the next month’s paycheck, but our sinking funds still count as “july’s money” if that makes sense…. it’s tough to explain in a comment. i might have to address this in my september budget with me, since it’s a magic month, and we’ll be dealing with this question then!
Personal finance is personal. Health (the BJJ) is important for life. People just like to have an opinion. I hate Dave Ramsey a lot. Now they can all hate on me instead of you ❤
😂😆😆 it is personal- and i do accept that i’m gonna get some flack because i voluntarily put it out here- but people really do get upset over my budget sometimes and it cracks me up
i honestly don’t know how to reply to this- i wish you did too. i will say this tho- budgeting doesn’t make money appear from thin air, but it does help ensure that you’re maximizing your financial potential.
