That’s a reason that it should be taught to the younger generation, that you never give up when things aren’t going as u planned it. Go back to the planning board an restructure your plan. It’s gonna come to fruition if you’re doing or that you have been doing the right things.

Definitely agree! But I believe she feels that its more about getting it right than becoming rich because at this point in the world. Its more about the justice than the money. God will handle the rest, but she should. She is entitled to the full justice and backdate of her pension and get more money from her pension because of wrongful termination.

As a retired police officer in the UK I am appauld at this woman officer's treatment for doing the right thing. Her bravery stands out at the highest level, knowing she may receive a backlash from her colleagues afterwards. Not only should she have her pension reinstated but also the loss of pay for her and her family should have been given, for the trauma they had to go through. I wish her well for the years to come knowing she can walk through life with her head held high. She sets an example for new recruits of why we join the police in the first place, which is firstly to protect life of all those in need of help no matter the situation or who they are.

Not to mention being fired and not being able to find work and support herself and family. This was far from a stand strong and feel good story. I remember seeing videos of her crying and breaking down in fear. This past year and all the events that have been happening are the only reasons she is able to get to this point. It's the culture of the job. The officer performing the choke hold probably had a very low opinion of the suspect. Many officers would condone maltreatment of certain suspects but this lady knew right from wrong. Standing up to, challenging and fighting the occupational culture of policing that at the very least turns a blind eye to malpractice is difficult and brave for serving officers to do.

Black police officers are caught between a rock and a hard place. They cannot brutalize and gun down white suspects and they can't intervene or stop a white police officer from using excessive force on Black people. There are different guidelines for Black and white police officers when it comes to how to treat Black and white suspects.

I can't imagine the range of emotions she's feeling. Vindicated, but also angry. All the years a GREAT COP could have been on the force, but NO! Grateful she stuck in there, and is finally getting some justice.

You know, she completed her assignment God had for her back then, and he used her for more, NOW. That woman raised the BAR of all fellow Officers to follow! Life is to short to be angry now.. Tomorrow isn't promised. I PRAY SHE FINDS THE PEACE SHE DESERVES, WITH NO REGRETS! GOD❤BLESS!

So you fire her for stopping excessive force because you said she was not reasonable, but later, the same officer you chose over her is sent to prison for excessive force.
