A Lake Wales man, who could have been sent to prison for years based on the claims in a police report, was saved by a home surveillance camera. It showed he didn’t attack an officer, as claimed in the report.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT BITCH ASS LIAR OFFICER CHRISTIAN CANO & PRUNEDA FROM SELMA CA PD DO ALL THE TIME ! CALL THE SELMA PD & LET THE CROOKED RATS KNOW THAT WE KNOW THAT THEYRE FKN PUS SY LIARS & NEED TO LOSE THEIR JOBS & GET THEIR ASSES BEAT FOR BEING DIRTY FKN LIAR RAT SCAVENGER PIGS !
Amen, should be tripled. and sued and fined and made to pay for the rest of their lives, like the person they falsified a report on would have suffered for the rest of their lives. no ifs ands or butts . Sever Punishment for intentionally ruining a citizens life .
not only that he was allowed to resign, which allows him to keep his pension, and can get a job in any other station who will take him. only the resignation follows him, not the complaints surrounding his tyrannical behavior
because hes a crooked cop & his other cop buddies wont put him in jail ,kinda like politicians think they are above the law .& most o the time get away with whatever so for the most part they are above the law in that sense . cause they always get away scott free .
Cops ARE civilians. They just act like they're not, and for some reason we treat them accordingly. We need to strip away their fake military ranks, and all the other crap that makes them feel, and apparently rightly so, that they're above the law. A police 'Sergeant' is just a supervisor...a fakeass 'Lieutenant' is just a middle manager.
@@DarthKryat because they sure would charge a citizen with it they act like they don't know what to do with these crooked ass cops when they break the law wants you to follow the law yet they are above it total bullshit
Not just that, but how many times this happens and has happened to other people. How many are behind bars right now or has had their lives destroyed due to a single lying cop. If you ever have the opportunity to serve on jury duty, remember that. You own it to your fellow citizens because this could happen to any of us.
He is only an Officer because he went for a job. It does not mean that he is a person of integrity or a law abiding citizen himself. Get rid of these psychopaths and formally charge and convict that Officer who made a really dangerous claim against Cordero. I hope he sues him personally and is successful!
Once a cop has been proven to lie on a police report, EVERY police report he has written is now in question! If people were sent to jail because of that report, that needs to be investigated!
Just like if your parent either needlessly lies to you or wrongfully punishes you, you can never trust him/her again, and he/she should not be allowed to punish you anymore. I myself had this happen to me, and it has scarred me for life --- I always tried my level best to be good, and always did an exceptional job, but I still got no relief.
@@Quacks0 parents wrongfully punishing children doesn't land those children in jail facing multiple false charges. You're comparing apples to dirty socks at this point. 😂👏😂👏
The cop should be charged with assault, official kidnapping by deception, stalking, official misconduct, and defrauding the public because they pay him to enforce the laws, not break them.
This is exactly why we have auditors on the streets filming the cops. Its not against the law for a cop to lie, so that's what they do with every conversation.
@@VMohdude- what do you mean? Because if you think Internal affairs is on the sides of the cops you are seriously mistaken. They are not. Trust me when I say that Internal affairs look down on Cops. Most of them think they're better than cops so that's not true at all. Most of them out there can't wait to bust these cops. The problem is the protection within the department from each other
4/11/21....The INNOCENT driver should sue BOTH officers + Chief of Police + Mayor + City/County Commissioners + State Governor.... BET HE + LAWYER GET BUNCHA 💰! Just sayin' for a friend!
Im fed up of these cases being resolved as ''the officer resigned, no other action taken'' But if a member of the public does something wrong, losing their job is the least of their concern. The police lied, made up a story that could have seen the man being sent to jail. In my book thats very serious and should be punished with a jail term. The U.S. police system IS corrupt and so is the justice system. Im really just happy I dont live in the states anymore. Hope the Officer goes to jail and the victim sues the police for every penny.
@@I_Love_my_adblock4408 Absolutely. The Innocence Project has exonerated dozens of innocent "criminals", some of whom were awaiting execution. The Equal Justice Initiative (EJI.com) is an outstanding nonprofit organization.
Kills me. I think citizens off the street should review these situations just like a jury in court, should have the same thing done in these situations
That's Orlando PD Orlando.gov . 🚔 I do security & deal with Orlando PD often. 80% of internal affairs complaints result in NO formal actions. 0. 🗂 Chief Orlando Rolon does not care about the community.
@@joesmith701 the station maybe, but not the force. Hence the word 'internal'. If it was external, it wouldn't be called an 'internal investigation' It's still police investigating the police and they are all part of the same club, especially in places like this, but even in big cities like NYC
He resigned which means he'll be working in a different nearby police department sooner or later. Once again the "bad apples" never having to face consequences 😒
It also means until he finds new employment, he is no longer protected as an "officer of the law". When means if he tries this shit between jobs, he can be killed and nothing will come of it aside from a close casket funeral, if there even is a body to bury/cremate.
@Zeldagigafan you know that his bitch ass will not try anything without the protection of that gun and badge. He has been stripped of his power...for now.
Both things can happen. Allowing them to 'resign' just saves the City the effort of having to do an investigation to terminate them. They can still be prosecuted, and in states where it is allowed they can still lose access to any taxpayer funded retirements based on the outcome of that prosecution.
No, triple the sentence the victim would have gotten.. When police lie and screw over an innocent persons life, they need to serve far more time in jail because of the power they have.
@@thecomedypilot5894 You know that there are more than two officers in every department that have a shady record and should be serving time behind bars, but qualified immunity.
@@matt89108 And how many millions do one these criminals win in frivolous lawsuits. Thankfully this officer in Tennessee had a cam on this week or there would be buildings burning already.
@@matt89108 So what - a tiny fraction of the overall cost of an officer per year. If it saves one lawsuit, it will pay for itself. It also the right and fair thing to do. The officers have proven that they lie. For a police officer to lie on a police report is unacceptable.
I had an incident in Stamford Ct. wherein when I was with the arresting officers they were being very kind and telling me thank you for being so calm and obedient and that it would be good for me in my court appearance. However, when I met with my attorney before my appearance he had a copy of the police report and they had completely made up a whole different scenario painting me in a bad light. They were not present and my Lawyer told me not to mention it to the judge as it would not go over well. He told me that police there in Stamford always embellish their reports. Thankfully Stamford is a small town and my lawyer ultimately had been in practice there for over 20 years and he got my case dismissed rather easily. This type of police abuse is much more prevalent than beatings and killings. In most cases it brings the local Courthouse a ton of revenue from falsified police records making the victims pay more serious fines and higher court costs. Besides maybe a stiffer sentence for the victims as well. The corruption runs deep, way over our heads. This dude is lucky there are so many cameras around these days as he was almost a victim.
What y'all think this just started happening this is the history of the police they say something and the public believes the lies now they should give him the time that man would serve the hell with just firing him that does nothing but encourage others to do the same thing
@@Internal_Investigation Yeah, "To Protect And Serve" is history. Many, if not most of them, are merely apparatchiks of the machine, "conserving the peace".
Filing false charges, assaulting a civilian, and trying to ruin a man's life should land that officer in jail. Cops are out of control and need to be held accountable.
Stalking and subsequently assaulting a citizen should be chargeable as well. Unfortunately cowardice on behalf of the department, and the DA will prevent this from even being considered
They have been lying and doing this from the time they invaded America. How many people are in prison and have been murdered because of such lies. Not all officers are bad officers. The universe watches and sees it all. You can do as much as you like but not as long as you like.
It’s scary to think how many people in jail are probably innocent. And when they do correct it and let the innocent people out the people who put them there never get charged even though I always hear false confinement is a felony.😡
Police unions are a huge part of the issue. They protect "bad apples" by requiring tedious administrative hoops be jumped through before a cop can be punished or fired. It doesn't take an Einstein of a cop to read the protections in place and come to the accurate conclusion that they are free to do almost anything they like and the weight of belief is on their side. Without the video, the cops word that the man attacked him would have been believed, and that man would be in prison today for crimes he didn't commit, charged against him by a lying, dirty cop.
I learned that if I want to beat people with impunity, invade their homes, kidnap them at gunpoint, and shoot them if they fight back, all I have to do is become a cop.
It's wierd how they don't see themselves doing it deliberately without no shame or one ounce of guilt. That's a demon in human form. That is not normal human behavior. A real human feel compassion and understanding of others just conducting normal daily task.....we have the seed of Serpent deliberately becoming cops to rec havoc on our community. There was an incident a few years ago where two officers took a young lady's cell phone and erased the footage of an incident she had recorded of them.
@Jannis Joplin I want to say I hope what you are saying is true. But how would that help anyone? I did once have a white female on my job say the same thing. She said poorer white people get treated to the same way. But as I said just because others are targets too doesn't help anyone.
There has to be accountability here. Just tried to ruin someone's life. Not only should he be stripped of his badge but criminal charges also needs to be brought up.
did you watch the whole video? because there were 2 of them in it attacking the victim. and they should BOTH be in prison for ALL the crimes they've committed. them and all the other cops who are a part of their dirty, super-racist gang of neanderthal, wannabe men, sociopath cops.
This. This would make every single police report 99.9% accurate and with zero embellishment reeeeeaaaal quick. It would also stop the conversations between officers regarding "what can we charge him with" in order to load up a stack of charges.
Right! Only reason why an attorney can afford to take the cases, Video recordings. If all this has been going on my inter life, only seen some maybe 20 years ago, 10 years ago happen to me. Does not seem like their going to change, I fear.
Even if fired they usually fight it then resign so nothing is on their record then get a job at another precinct . Seen it too many times and sadly the system won’t prosecute them because it makes them look like the tyrants they usually are .
Why do these people not have a locally based independent office of conduct and investigation into all law enforcement agencies. With a fully transparent complaints procedure, whistleblowing policy and annual public reporting process? Reduce and remove the possibility of police/public officials investigating/policing themselves - utterly ridiculous in 2021 that your community leaders are still referring to the odd 'bad apple' - Get a grip and just do it!!!
It's not 1 or 2 bad apples. It's the whole damn piglet department that is rotten. The piglet department investigate themselves and find no wrong doing in every case.

“High stress of the incident” literally nothing happened, he’s just trying to get away with lying and abusing power probably because he grew up a loser and never grew out of it
A lot of American cops are drawn to the job for all the wrong reasons, and instead of recognizing that psychology and considering how it plays into incidents of abuse of power people just pretend it's not there, and things continue to get worse. Officers should be held to much higher standards, because the power they have demands it. There should be routine psychological evaluations and those who fall short should be let go. All decent cops would understand the need for this and those who fight against any oversight are showing that they fear accountability for a reason.
@@ct5625 very true but i think that is the type of people they want individuals who will do whatever they are told to do, they are societies outcasts even before they became police officers.
So a man attacks an innocent person, calls him a slur, then lies about him to send him to prison for several years, and he gets....a timeout? That’s basically what that is. Not fired, not fined, not arrested for perjury, a *timeout*
Gotta give kudos to the man for doing his own investigation and saving himself. He's the one who should be a police officer. His detective work saved his own butt. Well done!

Yes with someone on the outside helping since they don't hear evidence from falsely accused inmates. They have no voice, it's legal slavery. That's why he was so happy when someone believed him to advocate for him. Even with proof it's hard to overturn an arrest/conviction.
He never should have had to do his own investigation to find evidence that he was being truthful and the officer was lying. This is one reason I'm all for cop cams being worn by every officer unless they are undercover and might be endangered by wearing a wire or pen cam.
Qualified Immunity means these officers will face NO CONSEQUENCES. In Denver, two Racist cops that ruthlessly beat a Hispanic man were defended by their Police Union and based on the Union Contract couldn't even be fired.
One innocent life behind bars is ONE too MANY! And We definitely have innocent people in Prison, a Criminal Justice System in need of Reform. Reform how we treat misbehaving Public Servants. They are given one too many chances until they kill or seriously hurt a fellow citizen or family member. Bad cops are an American family nightmare that needs to be put to bed.

@@epck This is a small town PD problem. Small towns don't have the budgets to pay for good cops, so they have to hire inferior officers. I don't think Sheriff Judd would put up with that shit, and he would certainly file charges against a lying cop.
The citizen and a group of his frshould be able to hold both cops down and beat them up for the same amount of time the cops beat the citizen. Then they should go to jail.
That’s another problem, when they “resign” charges against are not pursued. Then they go to a different department and do it again and get away with it again!!!!
False. Polk County just arrested 3 of their patrol deputies for falsifying an official document with more charges to come. Going on my 10th year, I've seen more officers and deputies grenade their own careers doing stupid things than I've seen skate by on technicalities. Even if a crime wasn't committed or charges weren't filed, things like multiple complaints or disciplinary actions will pretty much exempt you from any other agency.

He broke the poor guy's tooth and deprived the son of medication. When we rely on lawsuits for justice rather than criminally prosecuting the assailant police, the public pays both ways and lawyers take a huge cut.
A major part of the problem is that an officer who resigns or quits can be rehired by another police department. There needs to be a national database that keeps track of officers that are fired or quit because of wrong doing so they can't go else where and continue with their bad behavior.
Right. So true. Here in SoCal alot of cops get fired or discharged from there Dept and they can go into almost any small towns and they have offers of employment. Imagine that. Fuck that. Keep it on there record like a dishonorable discharge.
@ albert I hope this gains traction because I've been saying it for yrs..independent data base that requires all admins to report. Time to give internal affairs some independent teeth
Any police chief who defends an officer who abuses authority should be fired along with the cops involved. They ruin the lives of people with this abuse. Suspensions are not enough, they should be fired and never police again because they broke the public trust.
@@Dibab when police commit bad enough crimes there is usually not a review of their cases. District Attorney's drop anything pending the officer was involved in automatically because they are instantly useless in court. Once that happens lawyers of anyone convicted with him as a witness in similar cases can get them overturned or new trials. I remember a prosecutor who had hundreds of cases tossed for tampering and withholding evidence. The idea is that nobody in law enforcement is caught the first time or for their worst crime so their entire record is suspect. Remember "better 10 guilty men go free than one innocent punished"?
