@@YesMyTatsAreReal True, but they are a really good team. They had a weak schedule, but they can compete with anyone. They have everything a team needs to make a deep run. Top 20 in both offensive & defensive efficiency. The best transition team in the country (had more transition possessions than anyone). They are balanced with 6 players averaging between 7-18 points. They force turnovers, they contest shots, they play hard. They have a couple guys who can put the team on their shoulders. They take 90% of their shots at the rim or from 3 (they don't take many low % mid-range 2's). The thing they have been bad at is 3 point shooting % (222nd in country). If they shoot better from 3, then they are a tough out for anyone... BUT with all of that said, they could easily lose to Texas Tech who are a great team. It's the nature of a tourney with 1 winner out of 68 teams... just saying they are a very good team.
@@YesMyTatsAreReal they beat wvu when they were 13 in the beginning, beat the syracuse team that also beat duke, and their only non confrence loss was to marquette and even with good defense marquette didnt miss at all.
@@YesMyTatsAreReal They were up 26. They destroyed Az State, not just beat them. Can't say the same for a majority of the other top seeded teams, who all struggled with worse opponents.
Buffalo caught my eye in January. Their work ethic is top notch and I'm understanding they give a Blue Collar Award to one player with the most stats every game or whoever hustles the hardest which is cool. If my team weren't to make it, I'd love to see Buffalo pull it out. Got them going pretty far in the bracket though.
He played a decent amount during the regular season but he played the last minute of this game because the match up wasn’t in his favor. Segu is only like 6ft 160lbs, while ASU guards are like 6’4 200. Bad matchup if you put him in
@@CapstoneTider while true, thats mainly due to poor coaching hires. What kills me is bruce pearl wanted the bama job. But a very bad AD made the call to keep Anthony grant.
@@RealNTAF not sure of your insight into our NCAA woes but the number one job requirement of the basketball coach is to run a Clean Program. Staring down the barrel of the gun the basketball program cannot take down the football team. We can't hire Bruce Pearl's or Rick Pitino's no matter how bad you want to win.
