Made me chuckle for a brief moment in the sad tale of this woman’s fraud and usurping of awards and lucrative benefits from others over 30 to 40 years, as one indigenous artistic director has noted in the last several days. She pulled the wool over all of our eyes for so long, so heartbreakingly and so heartlessly. She probably set up scholarships and whatever else so she could keep everyone happy and none the wiser and then she could come in and take home another couple of prestigious awards, while the runner ups applauded unknowingly.
