"Bluffy" ! Ha ! Good one. But seriously the film did NOT claim that Buffys mother was Italian-American. Go back and watch it if you haven't or watch it again. It says her FATHER was Italian-American, and her mother was of English descent but look closely at the home movies of her mother. She is clearly not fully Caucasian. Her mother has dark skin and non northern European facial features. It has been said Buffy's mother was part Micmac and she looks like a Native American ( or Armenian). Cher is part Armenian and because of a couple songs she did about American Indians I for years as a kid thought she was American Indian.

An accusation is not proof. People are so accepting that anything anyone says is true.

@@sherrybirchall8677 The problem with that is, it isn't just an accusation. The CBC presented convincing proof. Her birth certificate was found which listed her birth parents, the doctor who delivered her, the time and place she was born, etc. And it wasn't a secondary birth certificate issued after an adoption - they were numbered sequentially. They were her biological parents. They also found that her family had tried to set the record straight on numerous occasions but that she had threatened to sue them, since it would "interfere with her employment opportunities." There was also a DNA test showing a biological relationship between her sister (that she claimed not to be biologically related to) and her son. This is not just an accusation. It has been proved. Instead of trying to gaslight her fans, she should admit the truth and ask for forgiveness.

Add a disclaimer at the front of the video and a link to the Fifth Estate story. This interview is evidence in the eventual lawsuits brought by organizations like the Juno's against her. Whole thing is grotesque. - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi
