It should be set up properly. One cannot tell one how to bias an amp in terms of "move it to 6 o'clock" etc. It is like tuning your guitar. When you are there, you are there.

I also bought a normal bugera 333 unit. Even though they can be found at ridicolous low prices, buying them it can be risky because these units are far from being perfect. Infact, the bugera 333 infinium is a re designed version of the older units, with corrections for the usual problems that made the old units so unstable. The amp that i bought had this problem: the fx loop turned on and off by itself, after 30 minutes of use. I later discovered that it was an overheating problem, so i added a fan to compensate and re worked cable management inside the amp. This solved the problem. In your case, it seems that you are lucky, because apparently it has no problem. if You are happy with the sound, go for it. To see if there are problems with valves, test the clean channel at mid-high volumes. If it begins to distort like crazy, then, there is a problem with the valves and they (not all at the same time) may break soon. The fact that the valves arent so lit isnt a problem, instead, it is good because they aren't under excessive strain. Also, the normal lifespan of a power tube with frequent usage at pretty high volumes is about 1 year. But they can last way longer if you play not so frequently or not at crazy volumes. Anyway, always test your clean channel. it doesnt lie. And, if you experience the fx loop problem, now you know the solution.
