Мое Почтение и поздравляю тебя с удачной покупкой! Bugera вообще радует нас своими изделиями и даже я в Москве юзаю Bugera 6262 - хороший аппарат!

I owned one. Early on in my playing. A very good budget amp. Along with Peavey Classics. Fender Hot Rods. Even the Crate Palamino was decent. All for good full clean tones and pedal platforms.

What I don't understand is why nobody seems to ever do what I do with tube amps. I'm after this one specifically because it's got the FX Loop. I had a Laney tube amp years ago that just broke, and I never got round to getting it fixed. But it had an FX loop, and what I'd do is use an EQ pedal as an attenuator. I put the EQ pedal in the FX loop, turned every dial up to the max, including the volume dial, and then played guitar into the amp like that. So it was pure power amp overdrive. Not the rubbish pre-amp overdrive that comes with it. So it sounded absolutely gorgeous. This way I could play a cranked tube amp at normal volumes instead of being mega loud Although maybe that's why my old amp broke, because I did this and it killed the power amp tubes. I dunno. But it worked, and I loved it. So this Bugera amp looks like a very good deal. There's nothing even approaching the level of options and EQ knobs and settings and features of this amp, in this price range. There nothing that can be bought for the same price that has everything this amp has. Every other tube amp in this price range seems to have only 3 knobs, volume gain and "tone", so they don't even have separate knobs for bass mids and treble. Let alone also having a presence knob like this bugera one does. And none of the others in that price range have FX loops. And again I need the FX loop. To get that sexy power amp overdrive baby

It certainly is a great amp! Regarding taming the volume via the loop, this is useful however the FX loop is always before the power amp, so when you reduce the signal there you're actually reducing the signal level hitting the power tubes.

Cheers mate, gd review!! I've had the V22 for a few yrs now (you know what prices we get gouged for in Oz!). Ive changed preamp valves, that helped piss off the fizzyness. Ill swap the power valves once these cheapos die.. Im happy with mine, thing luvs single coils and pedals... Ive got hand wired locally made 10/15watt amps, but I use the Buggerer at home, and mucking around with mates... does what it says on the tin and a bit more. My mates got the older model, he's had no strife...🤞🏼

Pretty telecaster :D thanks for sharing! I own the v5 and I am considering buying a 1x12 cabinet to plug it in. I considered a v22 but I am not sure, I don't play live and I just use the amp for practice and recording.

I always skipped the Bugera stuff but I got myself a second hand 1960 infinium just to have a cheap pre-modded plexi . Sprayed the atrocious gold logo flat black and pulled the power stage and swapped in 2x JJ6V6S (outside pair about class AB 16'ishW instead of 150W). Ohm's set to half of cab load to compensate. Possible via the high voltage of the JJ 6V6 and the infinium system self setting bias. If I were to wreck it then I'm only out a few bucks. So far it's held up fine. Which I didn't expect. Low cost low watt plexi fun. The V22 seems fun too. The price is ridiculous.

I am thinking about getting one for my low price, Rehearsalroom/studio setup My budged for an amp is about 330 euros.. So anything more expensive is not for debate. You think it's the best in it's range?
@PedalScience
@PedalScience 3 года назад
yes probably, the main downside for me is the reverb - it cuts the tail very abruptly. I also don't think I would rely on this for regular gigging, compared to something like a Deluxe Reverb, but for studio / home stuff and not cranking it, I think its a great choice.

The difference between the mics and the IR capture surprised me. The IR sounds more trebly but also more alive, if you will.

IR captures always sound decent alone, but that fuzz in the high end in a mix sounds terrible.

Clean cranked all the way up doesn't sound happy like you said but I wonder if thats because of the speaker and not the amp?
@PedalScience
@PedalScience 3 года назад
Definitely seems to be the amp as it does the same thing when connected to the load box.

Telecaster sound sure is ballsy when you start driving it huh? I had never realized how much fatter they sound than all the other fenders. It’s really almost similar to a p90 how clean it’s so glassy but driven it’s fat.

Hi. Good video with not too much of talking. But for me it is very hard to imagine, how it sounds in real oldschool rockabilly. Means with a short slapback, few reverb and absolutely clean. Gain and hi gain are not the style I play and it seems that this amp is mainly designed for Rockabilly, Surf, Blues, Beat and 70s Rock.
@PedalScience
@PedalScience 4 месяца назад
I would say it's very good for all of those genres but could do with an external reverb / delay pedal for rockabilly ofcourse
