Watching this video you might think "there has to be a better way to design and build a really good offroad machine." 🤔 Of course the owners of these buggies who spent countless hours and hundreds of thousands of dollars designing and building these absolutely incredible machines would probably disagree. 🤬 Haha
Does anybody know why these buggies roll so much more often than trucks? Is it the weight? Also, seems like the engine in the back makes these things want to endo whenever they bottom out. Crazy stuff!
I would like to know the same thing. I know that trophy trucks have massive suspension travel witch is one reason. I also know buggies have various different rules, or restrictions that they must adhere to. Yes the weight of the engine hanging out the rear definitely is a factor. Something I noticed was they run independent rear suspension. In my experience that can make you swap from side to side under extreme circumstances. Mabe someone with a better understanding of the classes can chime in?
So I’d image the slower classes have shock fade issues but the class 1 cars just seem like they suck at tuning shocks. But entertaining none the less lol
