One Day is a Jamaican reggae song co-written by the one and only Bruno Mars, a Puerto Rican/Filipino/Hawaiian and originally released by Matthew Paul Miller aka Matisyahu in the early 2000s, a Jewish reggae artist from New York and now covered by Filipino Bugoy Drilon....can't get any more diverse than that.

Bugoy is really an amazing singer. He was invited by Matisyahu to sing with him because of this Wish bus video. And indeed Matisyahu have written songs with purpose. You should check him out too. Yaaas! You finally found Bugoy! First off, Matisyahu is an amazing artist and this song is so hopeful and positive without being in your face. Secondly, Matisyahu saw this performance snd ended up inviting Bugoy to sing with him during his tour in the U.S. Thirdly, Bugoy is such an underrated singer. the writer of this song is actually bruno mars ( half filipino/puerto rican) ,back when he was struggling as a new singer he writes songs for other well known artstists. Bugoy originally is a rnb/ballad,soul singer. Try to react to bugoys cover of because of you please. Stay safe.
