That’s is true. However, here’s a shortcut. Every time you use a relic and beat enemies, reload checkpoint and all your attacks will have zero cool-down and will be accessible again no matter which difficulty you’re playing on

@@glioblastome i was able to defeat Gna in 13 seconds on GMGOW, and while I was attempting it, I tried a number of different things but found certain enchantments a lot better

@@akhafasu really appreciate this content truly! There's nobody putting out this type of stuff for the game doing real comparisons between gear and item choices. I hope you will do more like this...just as an example, I'm using the Berserker Chest and 2 pieces of the Zeus right now. The Spiritual Engravement requires a lot of cooldown stat so a few sacrifices need to be made to be able to use this on the weapon attachments, for example you can't use the Furious Maul on the axe. The Engravement gives a 45% damage increase I highly doubt the Maul gives that much but it's not really possible to verify. Like so many skills and procs, buffs, etc in the game it's really unclear what exactly they are doing. "Melee damage based on runic" what does that mean? What damage buff exactly is 400 runic giving to melee? I love the combat in this game but everything is so vague when it comes to comparing what's best.

@@akhafasu there's countless things in this game honestly, there's so many enchantments and abilities that are just really unclear on what they actually do. For things like the Zeus set it's clear - 40% damage increase, or 20% damage increase, this is good. For other things that offer a luck chance to proc, we have no idea how the luck stat affects that. We don't even know what "low, moderate, or high" even means in terms of how often it procs. What benefit is a "blessing of Runic" giving? Obviously it's a buff to runic...but how large or small is the buff? Are the three set realm enchants as good as the single new engravements? It's really hard to know. Is a 45% damage increase better than melee damage increase based on runic? There's no information available on this at all. It drives me nutty sometimes looking at things and trying to decide how to maximize a build haha.

@@akhafasu one more specific thing for you...the Muspelheim 3 enchant bonus you set says you get a damage buff when immolation, permafrost or maelstrom are fully charged. Does this buff still apply when you use the triangle abilities (violent maelstrom L1+triangle)? This consumes the meter so it's kind of unclear whether you are still getting the benefit...or you only get the benefit before hitting the triangle button? Just some things to consider.

not really, I fought with GNA NG+ with 600def and with few hits I was death, after that I tried a 1k+ build and was awesome, I was hit like x5 times and still alive (the extra durability allowed me to pick health from the ground) with that build I finally was able to killed her :)

@@YT-ry5zm sorry the defense is at 650-700. I tested it out looking at enemies and my health bars at the same enemies. Also take a look at the requirements for the dragon enchantment (600 strength) and steinjborn(650 defense). These are all NG+ enchantments with highest requirements and in someway suggests that soft cap with hard cap at +50

You can use the chest perk as an enchantment, which lets you use the berserker or Zeus chest instead.

Why don’t you replace Mani’s chest piece with Mani’s Engraving instead? It’s the same perk, and then you could use Enlightenment Set chest piece for more RUNIC. Then, Undying Pyres arm/waist to increase rate of immolation/permafrost/maelstrom, plus Muspelheim Set, which increases damage based on RNC (but rarely ever activate them) for its perk. Something like that you could experiment with

That’s the thing. It all depends on everyone’s play style and preference. This video is just to show that if we were to use EVERYTHING which build would do more damage. And with Soulless Warrior on the Berserker Cuirass, it shreds HPs

Try ares chest, raven tear gloves and boots with the enchantment that lowers rage punch cost. You just pick up health crystals whenever they drop mid rage to extend it for some ridiculously long spartan rages.

That depends. Damage wise, the complete Zeus set. But you can also use this and after the battle restart checkpoint to get all your skills restored

Yes it will do more damage. But the only time you would use that would be against normal enemies. If you use it in boss battles, they’ll be longer and harder. You can also use the berserker cuirass against normal enemies too and breeze through the game

All three builds are good. But Soulless Warrior when active destroys everything. That 17 second window makes all the difference. But if you’re not using it, I’ve found the Zeus set to be the most effective when it comes to dealing damage. Just don’t get hit 😅

I won’t say the best. I use it to do another minor realm shift. You can equip something else if you’d like

@@akhafasu I'm not sure you understood. When I use the Arcane Strength enchantment it does not trigger when using a relic. I haven't tested all of the relics but it specifically says "runic or relic attack hits stack a buff...." Have you done any testing for relics + Arcane Strength? If you trigger your relic and it attacks the enemy it should put you at Level 1 Arcane Strength...

Any relic would do to activate Soulless Warrior. The comparison is just to show that with Soulless Warrior active, the 17 second window deal the most damage. It if you’re not using relics and just want to hack and slash, then Zeus does more damage

Well, the goal here was to show that strength isn’t everything. It’s the perks that basically do the most damage. Yes, but the soulless warrior still deals a lot more damage in those 17 seconds for which it is active. If you’re not using a relic then yes, the Zeus armor and what you wrote does do a lot of damage

This set up can serve as a more defensive set up for encounters that are more so favour defence like longer winded encounters and the other can be used for more single target bosses

I go with Berserker and find it to be the best chest piece

You can choose your own runic attacks, they do t have any effect on the build. Weapon handles, shield ronds, armor and enchantments make up the build

Well yes and no. If you beat a mob with the berserker build and then realms, you’ll get your cooldown restored - all runics and relics will be recharged

I mean to say that it’s a base perk. Nothing is activated when you like Soulless Warrior. There is a strength cap. So even if you have 1100 strength it won’t deal more damage. However, if you activated additional strength perks then you can increase your damage significantly.
