I love your videos. Im in my late 30s and I've commented on 2 or 3 YT videos in my Life. This might be the 4th. Your Content/Videos are really informative to beginners like myself. I love getting the psychology of why we do the movement, not just how we do it. Could I do the Upper Body (A), and the Lower Body (B), on a 5 or 7 day split ? Week 1 - A B A B A off off Week 2 - B A B A B off off (or even have Wednesday as an off day instead of Saturday) And just make sure to do the warm up on each day, and go for that extra second or third set because of the energy you save by splitting it up? Again, thanks for your videos.
Hey there, thanks for your comment. I appreciate it! I’m pleased the workout is useful… muscle-centric technique always 💪🏼. Yes, your plan would work great! Go for it and let me know how you get on
Mad how assisted body weigh it lunges n squats are so hard and tiring when u focus on the muscle and squeeze. Used to squat 100kg for reps but lower back issues stopped my heavy lifting in the gym now want to focus on trx and maybe callisthenics and stop the heavy lifting Appreciate the video mate
It really is right. Using muscle-centric technique for each TRX’ing rep and placing your mind inside the muscle is a real game changer. I can relate to the gym past. I used to be a real gym bro lifting with my balls rather than my brain, led by ego. It’s been 7 years since I gave up the gym and weights for a life of fitness freedom with a suspension trainer and I’ve never felt or looked better. Stick with it 💪🏼
Yeah you def notice the difference in the way you are showing it how to b done so appreciate the effort. Gonna have a few more sessions off these beginner workouts then I’ll move to more advanced ones and maybe look into your programmes b
This is great! But if you said how often to do the workout (every day, every other day, 4 times a week, ???) I didn't hear that. How often for a beginner? Thank you!
Fantastic work. I just uploaded a new beginner upper body yesterday. Lower one coming soon. P.S: if you want to take your results to the next level, checkout my suspension trainer Programs - fitnessfreedomathletes.com/trx-programs/
Tried one of your more advance routines today and failed miserably lol. Will have to come back to this one till I’m better at the whole TRX thing, and in better shape. Funny though, getting better at isolating some muscles. Really noticing how being right hand dominant leads to my left arm being substantially weaker. Doing biceps and I’m thinking to my left arm “Hey you, get in the game dammit!!”
haha it will get there! Great that you feel and recognise that though. It shows you're really focusing on the muscle. Weak parts inevitably will get stronger.
5:29 How do you get the TRX straps to stay like that? I use a door mount, and even on the shortest length, the handles are pretty low to the ground. I'd like to raise them higher, and it seems like you've unlocked the secret..
That depends on a number on a couple of factors such as your workout experience, nutrition, and lifestyle - If you want to know how to ACTUALLY build muscle with just a suspension trainer? This video will tell you exactly how - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zF1VdGvEUzk.html
