Review of toes/heels in
30 seconds on/30seconds off x 2 sets each exercise:
1. TRX Plank
2. TRX Low Row
3. TRX Overhead Back Extension
4. TRX Squat
5. TRX Chest Press
6. TRX Lateral Lunges
7. TRX Rotational Ward
8. TRX Hamstring Curls
9. TRX Y Fly
10. TRX Triceps Press
Cool Down:
TRX Low Back Stretch with Rotation
TRX Standing Fig 4 Stretch
TRX Chest and Torso Stretch

I just got my TRX yesterday and found you on RU-vid. I did this for the first toke today and it was GREAT!! I love the detail of your instructions and reminders to squeeze things and tighten them. As well as reminders of postures. I’ve saved all of your beginner videos to do.

Shana- you are a very good teacher and seem like a nice person too! I do TRX at the Y and at home and this was a good workout for me as I am just getting back to exercise after not doing anything for a few years.

Can u group all the exercises with the same length of trx so that one does not have to do adjustments all the time? Thx

Unfortunately the length is set per exercise and for many exercises is essential to be correct. I suggest doing a quick "practice round" of adjusting your straps to the various lengths (fully shortened, fully lengthened, mid length, mid calf length) so that it comes easy during the workout. I didn’t like the constant adjusting of the straps. Try and put the exercises with the same strap length together.

Great feedback! I'll look at making some videos with one length convention. Surprisingly the Exercise order and strap adjustments were intentional. :) I want beginners to get used to the length changes (similar to grabbing different dumbbells for a new exercise while at the gym). Also, the exercise order emphasizes something called "peripheral heart action" - allowing various parts of the body to recover while others are working.

This is great feedback. Here I thought it was just annoying to find out that it was intentional. I always struggle with adjusting the straps. Guess practice makes perfect 😃
