I don't even care about the music. You're awkwardly trying to do exactly what Maldhound is doing- but you lack any charisma or flair to pull it off. You'd be better off trying to parody what he does and even then, you're still the one who ends up looking awkward. You could be having fun, just goofing around, or this is your version of an homage to Maldhound- in that case keep doing what you're doing. Doing things for the sake of enjoyment can't be criticized. But if you're looking to genuinely become a content creator (which I'm not assuming one way or the other), copying someone else's bit and doing it worse is not the way to go about it.

@Shpeedle If it's any consolation, I also lack charisma and flair, which is why I don't try and do MaldHound's format. Or anyone else's style, because they do it better. ... or even videos lol. If you haven't seen MaldHound's videos, you should definitely check them out. They can give you an idea of how to do your videos differently than his and really find your own unique format and energy for the videos. If you do watch Maldhound's videos and continue trying to reproduce his style, well, then I'd suggest that you watch HBomberguy's video on plagiarism on RU-vid. It's a long one.. but you could benefit from. Learning why it's important to make creative content instead of consistent content. In any case, wish you well. Cheers ✌️
@@RandomGenericCommentLook man. i know it may not actually look like it. but i have actually put in effort to differentiate myself from him, it's fine to be similar in topics. it's inevitable, I actually SPECIFICALLY go out of my way to avoid the cards he covers in the last like month, do my research without watching his video, so that, i don't just take his card selection. write my own script. i'm also not trying to emulate him in the slightest. but if it comes off as a version of him. that's on you. the only similarities are, we talk about cards. we talk about players, and we both pick specific commanders to do. it'd be theft if i for example stole his scripts, his jokes, his tone, but when i got feedback for even something as little as humor i literally swapped the mood, intentionality, all the stuff that i associate with his videos, and tried to fit my own personality in the video. sometimes that comes off as awkward, but i assure you. I respect maldhound way too much to steal his shit. I do not want to attempt to have his sharp bite in scripting, i'm developing my own way, experimenting with other content, and make the magic stuff because I DO actually enjoy talking about the cards themselves and analyzing the themes for commanders.
