Overnight parts from Japan! With the untimely demise of the previous seller I was able to find all 130 stages of the Back To The Future DeLorean Time Machine from DeAgostini on a Japanese auction so I can finally build this sucker. In this part we finish and show off the completed model and I LOVE IT!, Model Modz, Mike Lane, and Darren Gurney parts along with some customizing. See livestream link at the end for the completion.

No matter how many times I watch this video, I can't get enough of it. Especially because I am halfway through my build. How did you mount the centre green power light! was it part of the modelmodz kit!

the modelmodz 6-in-1 remote board had outputs for the red and green LED bulbs, I used some leftover connectors and some lighthouse LEDs I drilled holes for to make the red and green time circuit lights. I think I cover the mod in one of the episodes of this build series. Pretty easy to do.

Not much advice other than take your time and use oil on all screws going into metal, the model modz flux capacitor and sid tree as well as flux bands are highly recommended for maximum realism and visual impact, oh and get some good wiha or wera screwdrivers.

Do the wheels go hover mode? Or is there some type of mod?...Im subscribed to fanhome But im only up to issue 16 😂 its going to take so long to finish!..

The wheels will flip down, however I glued mine in place, there are also 3D printed add ons to make the hover mode look better, likely available on shapeways.

Did you ever modify so the hoses are installed with Mr. Fusion?

No I did not I keep them stored with the reactor lid when using Mr. Fusion, you don't see them even if they were installed.

What is the best model kit for this DeLorean? As I know a couple of other companies do this like DeAgostini & Eaglemoss?, although I don’t know if these companies still sell them? Any help would be appreciated as after several years I’ve finally decided to build one. I finished my Millennium Falcon back in 2017.

Worth the price is very subjective, so I can only give my subjective answer which is well worth it, it is a sight to behold, however without all the aftermarket mods I added I might change my opinion.

Currently about 30 months and about $2500 but if you do not want to do the back to the future 3 additions you will finish sooner and save a few hundred bucks.

I’ve about 7 months left to finish mine but I started 2 years ago. Where would I best to look to bulk buy remaining issues? eBay is hit and miss and overpriced.
