I will be framing the top section of windows with glass, just have to find it for free first. Right now it's covered with plastic. I will probably do it this summer :) This lake is manmade for making ice in the late 1800's. The Ice was exported to London to be used in early day refrigerator's. They called it icebox or cold closet. The lake is around 2,5 meters deep. Great for swimming in the summer as it gets warm fast.

Good job! A workshop with a great view is something most of us wish we had. Hopefully you're not prone to flooding there as you are fairly close to the water.

It's all good DL. The lake can't rise above cabin level unless they start raising the western banks. This summer is too good so far and I'm just working on very small projects these days.

Wow really nice job man and what a view you have from your workshop! This new extension could practically double up as a fishing hut!

Yeah! Thanks Dev, thats a great idea 😆 Just very small fish in this lake though. This lake is man made to be used for making ice, to be used in early day refrigerator's, in the late 1800's. So it is around 2,5 meters deep. Great for swimming in the summer as it gets warm fast.

MAN I love your property. I love how you describe how you view your father. Its exactly how I felt about my grandfather. I'm a certified carpenter in Canada, and I started learning from him at a young age. Love the videos!

Yeah parents seem so huge and limitless when we are young. Then we grow up and see they are human :) Thanks for sharing, Tyler.

Just love how it glides into the surroundings. Your "beis" looks great, seeing the wood is essential to me. Great job! and as always the music is perfect :)

@@shonolson1839 Yeah music and smells is a great reminder of days gone by. Here are the songs. 1. Go on blues (Bo the drifter). 2. New old town blues (Bo the drifter) 3. Just tell me (Alexa Cappelli)... I use Epidemicsound for all my music, you find it there.
