I think this must have gone up when I was away at my friend's wedding, I completely missed it, only realised when I started watching today's one and the car had lights on the roof that hadn't been there in the last one I saw. Whoopsie! Oh well, I'm caught up again now.

Looks amazing Wayne. Really looking forward to getting to this stage. Am awaiting delivery of the body parts in the next few days. Thank you for your fantastic tips on some of the intricate work. As you say many times, you make mistakes so we don't have to. I have been following all you videos during my build, & not the magazine.

My lights I pushed them into the holes on the front reflector

I've seen a fix for those floppy sun visors on Facebook. Disassemble the visors, then run a strip of tape (or 2, whatever is needed) along the groove where that long metal shaft will go. Then reassemble the visors. The tape should provide the resistance needed to keep them from flopping around Glad to see that you're getting kits again. It's been three months since I've received anything here in the States. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever be able to finish this beast.

For the scale of CB cord you can always use a screw will give it that smaller tighter wrap and be angled like CB cords are 👍

It is looking good, I have a couple of scraps of 2 x 1 wood offcuts that i have wrapped a bit of cloth around so that I can turn the vehicle upside down near to and part that may be delicate and the roof doesn't get scratched

Guess what? I managed to snap all the roof lights off when I flipped it over to install the roof panels 😂 Sent an email to eaglemoss requesting stage 115 (plus 96 as my rear right window is badly scratched) for which I’ll gladly pay cash money, but radio silence from them. Hmmm.

Wayne, stage 117 shows 6 screws holding the metal strip to the headliner. you missed two under the sun visors.

Hi Wayne. I’m in the UK. I’ve been waiting for issue 29 to arrive for over 2 weeks now. 30 was also dispatched a week later. This morning, I got 30 but also 31. I’ve not even paid for 31 yet lol. It’s maddening really that I’m still having to wait for 29/replacement door. Waiting on Zoe to reply currently!

good to see more work getting done on the Ecto-1 . here is a mone from me on another part work was missine issue 90 on the X-wing but got all the rest 91 to 100 they sent my newsagent a litter saying it was on back order now they are saying they cant get it with it being finished and they are not reprinting it so now stuck

This is definitely not an easy build I have broken so many things on this car so far the first problem I have is the little trim you put around the windows the glue deactivate on me and when I turn it around it catches on something and Bends it right off so mine look bad and the second problem I’m having is Eaglemoss send you some pretty warped parts which I don’t feel like going through a process of going through a re-ship because they’re always sold out and the third problem I have is I have no room for it lol

Little upset right now got my issue with the passenger side fromt door but the 4th pack (interior door panel) wasn’t included, out of stock will be in next shipment, and was the only part I could work on until replacement door is sent 😟

Still trying to figure out where those cables on the rooftop will be routed considering I don't see any hole on it.

@@WorldofWayneUK It looks like it would have been just as easy to route the light cables through the roof and under the headlining if Eaglemoss could have done a little bit more work. I'm worried that the wires will be very visible on the completed model as there is quite a gap between them and the roofrack. I might experiment a bit with mine this weekend.

Is it me, or does it seem like the screws for the lights are still accessible after the headliner is on? If that's the case, I'll wait to install them so i can flip on to the roof and add those lights when that's all done

Yep. They should be although when we start to build the rack on the roof the lights will be pinned in

The oil is just a 3 in 1 oil. The PH00 for tiny screws and a PH0 for all others
