CQD (Come quick Danger/Distress) was the precursor for SOS. SOS was easier and faster to send and so it soon became the international emergency call. The Titanic was one of the first ships using SOS.
what I like about these builds is that you have to build the remote as part of the model build....this way it gives you more satisfacton that when you see it all working, you know you build it yourself
I love that remote control! Better saddle up for a mad dash to the finish. By my count, they will have to get decking, electrics, photoetch railings, deck details, lifeboats, and rigging done in 24 stages. If it's anything like the Bismarck, the last 12-15 stages are going to be extensive. I loved that about the Bismarck, though. The finish was really fun...difficult but fun 😀
Can you glue the pegs of the telegraph dial? It doesnt stay in, keeps falling out. I hope it will be fixed once you complete it because that bothers me for some reason. Lol
Do you know that in Germany we got a metal cast instead of plastic for issue 95? It was made especially for Germany. The lower plastic plate you have was delivered to us in normal metal. If you want it, you have to go to Germany.
