That guy use his head on making it work for him awesome. You could change the shower head in your trailer would help with the water flow we did that in our fifth wheel . You could also buy organizers to fold your clothes down small. You could get a rope basket for your shoes and hang them on the wall. So much fun and adventure living full time in a rv . We lived full time in our rv for five years now. Loving it just my husband and our cat and full grown Aussie dog. In a 35 feet fifth wheel. We tow a Jeep and sometimes side by side. Have fun love watching your videos.
oooh, I have an idea... get a flatbed truck you could carry the Jeep on, and tow whatever camper you want behind it. yes, you have to be unhitched from the camper to load/unload the jeep, oh well. Could be a lot of secure storage boxes under both sides of the flatebed truck, too. mmm?
I do love that idea! And I may complain occasionally, but I also kinda like that the Truck and trailer force us to be mindful of accumulating too many things. We still get new stuff, but it allows us to donate clothing and items as acquire those new items! 😊
Thanks Hollie and Morgan, very inspirational. I looked on Craigslist and $100 for a full size pick up camper in good shape. I like these side stories, they show how easy it can be. I also love your passion you and Walter are sharing for this. Thank you.
Holly, very cool video...one of the best things about it was how frickin' stoked and excited you were about what Morgan built and sharing it with us...you're fun. Keep making these great, entertaining videos dear. ;)
An 8.5' camper (1978) on my late Grandpa's '96 Diesel Short box Chevy & a 18' tilt deck bumper pull trailer works for the wife and I. Still tent for nights on the trail, but for a base camp, the camper is the kittens' whiskers!
Such a cool build. His Mr Buddy would be fine if he left it running, I'm sure the camper is far from airtight. The shower could easily be replicated with a unit from Lowes or Menards or HDepot, or ReStore if you're looking to be budget friendly.
Definitely a different type of video today that guy did a great job bending $400 he has everything on one trailer that is definitely thinking outside the box❤🙏👍👍👍👍👍
I find this more respectable than someone buying a $85k toy hauler that immediately depreciates, has a fraction of a the capability, a fraction of the load capacity be will start to fall apart within a few years.
This is pretty sweet. Love the content. I'm only rocking an F150 but am considering a trailer for my JKU and a tent in the bed for now. But I can see this on the horizon!
That would be a pretty awesome setup. There are so many options for racks and Roof Top Tents. Check out CVT tents...The products we have tested were solid and the owners are awesome people!
Great idea I go out with my 94 Dodge Dakota with a shell and my Suzuki Samurai on an old buggy trailer. Works for me.Had a motorhome but it fell apart from all those dirt roads. Make Walter build a shower on the back of your set up. Hope to see you all on the trail.
I want to get the on-demand and get rid of the silly 6 gallon water heater. I do put it on both electric and gas when I’m showering so it heats the water back up faster.
Perfect topic today and I hear this all the time about transporting there Jeeps and camping or hotel rooms. I have a rig and looking for a 5th wheel trailer to build a crawler hauler!
My current setup is arctic fox truck camper with one slide it’s very roomy and we can stay in it on or off the truck and I pull a 24ft enclosed trailer to haul the bronco and pretty much what every else we need it’s like my garage on the road and a 2016 f-350 dually haul it all hope to get it out on the road soon til tomorrow stay safe.
Imagine what could be accomplished with a little bit more budget!? Also, I love the idea that this type of project can be upgraded in a modular way (like one section/step at a time). I’m all for anything that enables people to get outdoors now instead of waiting for ‘the perfect’ setup.
I like the idea but I’d probably make mine with a bumper pull trailer. I prefer a gooseneck but I think I’d put a camper on the truck. Hence the bumper pull. Very informative and giving me some ideas. Right now I’m a canvas tent on the ground with a cot for sleeping.
Camper on the truck is great, except I find myself offloading the camper if I'm staying somewhere for more than a day or two so I can have a rig to drive without breaking camp. If you are towing a trailer for the wheeler anyway, this is perfect! Why not have the camper on the trailer, so you can set up, un-hook, and have the best of everything? I like it, alot!
So our set up is an F-450 with a 12’ flatbed which we put the Jeep on and then we pull our 35’ Keystone Outback behind it. Granted our F-450 is a 2001 but it only has 140k miles. So the entire rig not including the Jeep is less than what some new jeeps cost.
My buddy bought a crawler hauler that was built with a pickup camper and gooseneck. I gotta say I’m done with tent camping 😂. I can’t wait till I can stop borrowing trailers and build my own.
That Krawler Hauler is nice, but the 115K+ cost is hard to swallow. I put a 20 ft nobo camper on a 42ft utility trailer and got a similar solution for 33K. But I am still thinking about a nice Krawler Hauler possibly in the future.
We deffo did not pay that ... we were actually lucky to have found one that someone had made custom and didn’t pick it up! We actually do miss it right now and can’t wait to be back in our little home soon 😃
Totally off topic but did you catch the new Flex, Rocks & Rollovers video Marvin just uploaded? There's some random little girl wheeling, can't be more than 10-11 years old...killing it! She made all the boys look silly!! She'd make a great Ambassador for Women-Wheelers! She is the future! You gotta check it out if you haven't already. I got a feeling you'll fall in love with her!
I have a 2018 palimino popup camper. Leaks so bad the fiberglass is delaminating and the wood is rotting, the popup motors only work sometimes, we had the fridge replaced because it quit working, and it stopped working a week later. A nice warranty is worthless if it's always at the dealer being fixed.
I got to admit, I don't like much when the RU-vidr is a girl.. they cheat to much to gain some attention, like being in thongs to gain some followers, but you GIRL you nail it.. got some good humor, not selling your body, not a dumb "social media needy chick" , really know what you are saying.... Thanks, this is fresh.. you are working hard, you are legit, you know what you are worth... I wish you the best.
@@MischiefMakerTV I thought I heard Glasgow but I wasn’t sure. I really enjoyed this video because my son frequently travels for his work and housing can be expensive for short term jobs. Something like this would allow him to pull his home and his small car to the job site. Thanks!
I wanted your style crawler hauler but I already had a new camper so I made mine .I'm sure we will see you soon.you guys should come to renegades on the ridge in pa
