Do you have any recommendation on where to download your music? I do time lapses and uncut Minecraft, and would love to use and credit your chill beats.
I'm kinda curious to see what your power graph is like after all the iron, steel and wire machines you've built. I hope you're not running low before you even get into the more advanced components!
Little tip for your miners that are in the middle of the slab sitting on dirt: You can put foundations over top of the resource nodes and put the miners on top of the foundation. It works fine.
Boy does that build look great! Like 11:50 - cargoes fitting perfectly under rails with frame support as well. It just looks much better when rails keep low, not flying above everything at one level. You are doing great with all copying terrain.
14:23 im a fan of the colors too. Having everything exposed, it adds depth to the project as to where every area is and what it does. It's cool and useful, it should stay imo
Oddly enough these are the part of the fourth package that is usually the last to finish. And it turns out there is a good reason. Of all the parts that are space elevator related there are only two that require large numbers, Copper Powder which you need 200,000 of and Automated Wiring which you need 121,500 of. Next on the list is Versatile frames with 13,000. Of course, being a Milestone oriented player, I'm more interested in absolute quantities, but it is still of interest here as this makes cable and wire or Quickwire (depending on your Stator prefference) the highest demand items.
I think I like this wacky factory placement from having all the exact same machines perfectly aligned, idk, it feels different and that's refreshing to see!
You should build some kind of observation tower in the center of this new compound, it'd give it a nice centerpiece and be a great place to watch everything work from.
I love the vertical building builds you do. The uneven terrain is difficult to wrap my head around sometimes but you're not wrong, it looks fantastic and complex!
Color is crucial. I do that with everything: smelters, splitters, mergers, constructors, etc. My color system is as follows: - Orange-ish: Copper and items derived from it. - Blue-ish: Iron and items derived from it. - Brown: Steel and items derived from it. - White: Silica. - Purple: Quartz. - Cream: Concrete. - Yellow-ish: Caterium and items derived from it. You catch my drift...
Love the way the build is coming along, but I just don't get the universal love for the Iron Wire recipe. It's nice in small builds where you can eliminate the need for an entire resource (copper). But in a large build the space constraints and building counts compared to Fused Wire seems like a bad tradeoff.
This is rather chaotic. Would be so fun to just.. walk through all this, no jetpack or hoverpack or blade runners, just catwalks and paths and sidewalks.
After 11 years of rocking a i5-3550, it's an understatement to say that i'm f***ing excited to get my hands on a 7800x3d and 7900xtx next week and finally be able to play this game past tier3
Hi Kibitz, i just want to mention it if you build blueprints you can switch the build mode to "blueprint", then the bps will snap to other bps. (In R7)
Dude, you should be hired as an production engineer. Look at the stuff you did in a game, this gives me headache just by looking at it. Any factory owner would be lucky to have you as a planner.
I just want to say, good job with Helo Fresh Ad, if all youtube Ads are made this interesting we will dont need ad-blocker. Even though i saw Ad on Hello Fresh milion times before i ejoyed watching it... (mainly becouse i was eating pizza and couldnt skip but still)
For some reason I read it as Cthulhu board the first read of the comment.... Still kinda fits for the spaghetti and now I'm sure kibitz follows some elder god to be able to do these things
welp ... Thanks Kibitz for the temptation to get this game ... now time to spend hours upon hours to build a chaotic factory and start automate basic stuff
And are you still believe, that you have still enough free space for rest of your machines?? It looks enormous, I´m holding breath and keep watching. Good work.
I've always wondered why you've never built up when it come to running out of Space. Same goes for the Blueprint thingy. Is there not enough room to fit at least 2 Levels of Constructors + the Belts, therefore making it so you can build double the amount of constructors in about 2 to 2 and a half tiles high?
