I suggest building an airport, just for making transporting goods easier and bringing more tourists. Also about tourists maybe build an artificial tourist island. Both of which could bring a massive income! Loving the series btw

I definitely back an idea shared in the comments on building a tourist trap district that will bring more tourism into the city and make the city even more money in the future. If museums and amusement parks are in the game, I would love to see plenty of amusements being built for all your people in a future episode.

Most of our exits have a raised roundabout directly above the road, road up a dirt mound foundation and two little bridges across the road. Efficient, small footprint.

the last four cs + cs2 series' feel so connected. I like to imagine they are all in the same universe. both evil mayor series providing tourists, resources, and other stuff to newwalker. investon feels like a more modern evil mayor series!

I think part of the reason there are so many extra jobs is because Kibitz keeps adding industry and workplaces every time he builds residential...

As an American (Colorado) I can confirm, in COLORADO, not the US but just my home state, I have seen 1 normal roundabout, and 3 roundabouts... ON A BRIDGE

Hey Kibitz, have you thought about creating districts that you can assign the services to a specific area, so you don't need so many schools, etc?

someone did a reserch on the schools in game, the diffrence it that it takes like a few mounths to finish elemantry, and 3 years for high school , and 3 years for collage, so you need a lot more high schools and collages for elemantries

I would suggest making an airport like the guy in the previous video. That will really help boost your economy and make you more money!

14:45 I'm not sure I'd call the stats inaccurate. They depict your current population, so they're telling you how many schools you need to support the students you already have. Since you're about to add thousands of new homes, its safe to assume you're going to want more schools. By checking the stats on a few of your existing districts you can fairly accurately estimate approximately what you'll need as far as services. Honestly though, you'll find it easier to let people move in first and gradually add parks and other services. It's good to have elementary school for all your cims because most of the jobs in your city will end up needing it. Cims will put up with a lack of recreation for a lot longer, and adding new parks, medical clinics and police services causes the homes to level up. That can lead to your cims complaining of high rent. Having only an elementary school means that eligible cims should become poorly educated but their homes will still be cheap until they've gotten decent jobs.

So good to see Kibitz enter his Dickensian Villian arc.

Kibitz, makes a masive resedential area, Also makes large industrial area which needs the same amount of jobs, wonders why there are no more people to work.

That monstrosity at 13:11 is an abomination... and I'm totally here for it :D Seriously, though, you could take the British motorway junction approach, a 4-lane bridge spanning the highway, then a roundabout at each end of it connecting it via on- and off-ramps to the highways, and any other roads you like for that matter.

If you have been recnetly going to a website which begins with the letter F, you may have heard that it's associated game is getting a new DLC of it's own size (roughly) and will be called 2.0 (the main game release comming with the DLC) and Space Age (DLC itself's name) respectively. Can anyone guess what the game itself it? The talk about one of the features is very controversial. And when that very same DLC comes out i would like if you could play it. You have played the base game before, when it hit 1.0.

Since you were looking to fill jobs in those factories, I would have held off zoning industry when you created the new area. Once filled, then start zoning industry.

I don't understand the whole smaller houses thing. My understanding is that housing that takes up less zoning tiles, has less people living in it, same for commercial and industrial, so by making everything like 2 or 3 tiles deep, its actually more inefficient because there are more unique and different trips from one place to another, where if the buildings were bigger, they could support more people

What about doing a professional sports/ entertainment district, I think they have like professional sports stadiums or arenas in the special building section add that and restaurants and shops and it kinda relates to the idea of the tourist trap district said in a couple other comments

Now they can work longer hours in the factories thanks to Shorter commute times

Stop obsessing on traffic. For now it is 100% cosmetic. Everything works perfectly fine even with all roads blocked by cars. Cims and products just teleport. You can have completely disconnected city and people will still move in and businesses will work just fine. It seems that they gave up and make it ved from agent simulation to statistic one. Just like SimCity was done.
