I like Mustie, he doesn't harp on you about subscribing or begging for "likes", he doesn't try to hock any merchandise, he doesn't ask for anything. he just says come on in and let's hang out and do some wrenching
I'm not sure how effective subscribe begging is. If you want people to sub just give them content they want to view. They're smart enough to think to sub themselves.
No intro music with a redundant video title splayed across the screen. He doesn't spend several minutes talking to the camera, newscaster style, telling us what he's going to do, he gets right into it with his trademark 1st person POV. I despise those channels that do that, and most of guys are pretty ugly to look at, especially Uncle Tony (lol).
@@Hjerte_Verke RU-vid does make it pretty easy to fast forward video. I do that a lot on parts I don't want to see. There's also people that watch videos at faster playback speed. For some slow stuff I can see that. The format has been getting longer on the platform. I skip videos a lot just because I don't have that kind of time to watch them. There's parts of this video I skipped ahead of. Stuff like weld beads and saw cuts. I skip that. I know what's going to happen there.
I particularly love the way Mustie gets his audience involved in the projects, makes it so much more personal and enjoyable, Sundays have taken on a whole new meaning now that we have his videos to look forward to.
Oh my God, everyone sound the ⏰️, Mustie actually bought a few new parts for a project. There was always talk through annals of history that he had indeed bought new parts before, but I had never seen it with my own eyes. What a glorious day 🎉🎉.
Sunday School with the Master of Mechanical Engineering, I've learnt so much by watching these Videos, that I have actually put somethings into practice ( bare in mind I'm 67 lol and still learning ), The quality of the content is always amazing, the commentary along the way is never to technically advanced, keeping within layman's realms. It has become a Sunday lunchtime must do, along with a cup of coffee and Bacon sandwiches ( With Brown sauce lol ), every Sunday I wake and ask myself " whats on Mustie 1s workbench today"
I love how you can go shopping in your stashes all over, that you have the room to store ALL the stuff you have kept over the years.. I have SO much stuff and almost NO room for it, I get bitched at constantly (eh) but man.. to have the space you've acquired over the years.. plus once you got that shop, man that shop is awesome. That new barn you have is going to be a sweet place to keep stuff too.. that upstairs you did with the elevator, SO nice.. to be able to use all that space. Man I keep EVERYTHING because as SOON as I get rid of something, without a doubt I need it and have to go through the hassle of finding whatever it is I just threw away.
I love working on what people throw away. My dad passed away 1 year ago and had a power washer with burner. Thanks to you I’ve got it up and running like new. The bad part on it was the pressure switch that turns on flow switch.
Mustie as a gearhead a a bowler. Loved the old bowling ball bag for storage i use a duckpin ball bag to carry tools when I'm in the salvage yard . I'm from Maryland. Love all your projects
Thank you for the video! You are allowing us to relive those things through you as well as inspire us to do the same. You really do have a positive effect on many peoples lives. Thank you for that.
I first started watching the beginning episode of the Taiwan mini truck engine removal. I thought hey, what the F was the reason the big change back . I then checked my phone, and the buggy was here! My tv hadn't updated I guess in a long while. Thanks for the Sunday morning ritual routine. Thank you.
Hi Darren. This is Darren, lol. Love the build. Always look forward to your videos. Thanks for all of your hard work!!! Hope you and your family have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!😊
A solution for the muffler issue would be to swap out the exhaust manifold studs on head for bolts. I just paused the video to text this message, then restarted the video and realized you did exactly what I suggested. Great minds think alike😁.
Hey Mustie, these creative videos beat the straight repair videos hands down. Your all time best was the Meter Maid. We saw your whole skillset and with a joyous result. Best to ya!

At 49:48, y6u have a dirty blue metal gas tank on the shelf. I think that would look pretty good mounted to the top like you were talking about. While I was watching, I was sure you were going to grab it specifically for that.. Loving the build!
I get absolutely estatic when a Sunday episode of Mustie1 comes up in my feed. He always has some wild ideas on how to overcome issues that would deive most people stark babbling insane. His stash is legendary. I thought I was the king of crap I think I'll use some day horders. He makes me look like a newbie horder. This is another Mustie1 series I'll be craving for the next episode. Ooh, did I hear Darren mention a future mad max bicycle build ? I'd love to see another series of him building up one. Hopefully like the dual engine Steampunk one.
