The rod bearings and main bearing will let you know if there’s detonation. Check them

Awesome job Andrew, your tuning proof is in the top end of the engine like you said, and all the resent proof of all the tunes you have done. Forget all of the stupid trolls, you know what your doing, been following you since got your first GT500 before it became EL Choppo, you have worked very hard and learned a lot. BTW still miss the GT350R.

I’m fully aware pitting on bearings can show detonation. But guess where it shows first: the pistons. This engine has zero reason to remove the rod caps. It is already sold

@@MustangLifestyleTV from what I’ve seen is bearing take a lot of the abuse first since there’s softer mater and they show detonation first if I was selling a motor I would of at least checked them to make sure I was selling a good motor but that’s just me
