That wouldn’t have worked with the gen 1 cts-v accessory drive that I already had. If you already have the correct water pump and balancer and needed everything else, I can see the value. But it is still $2000 and you’d need the lsa balancer and water pump.
With an LSA? Or just truck accessories? ICT billet has pretty affordable brackets.Let’s hope this setup doesn’t throw the belt. I wanted to use a spring loaded tensioner, so this is what I came up with.
@@PetesGarageandperformance Yeah I have truck accessories and want to put an LSA on it. I didn't see ICT's parts - looks nice, about $800 or so once you buy everything. The LSSimple one doesn't look as OEM, but you'll get to use 8 rib. About $1000 or so once you get the crank pulley as well. If your setup works well that's a winner for sure haha
@@PetesGarageandperformance I just ordered the 20-163bk from summit.they said it would drop ship it from holley on 8/22...i paid just over 2700..you only live once...
I have the 1st gen ctsv accessory drive. I had to buy a special fitting that screwed into the p/s pump to -6an. Then I had to take a few thousandths off of the back of the p/s pulley to clear the hex on on the fittings. I did that modification when I had the engine in my e36 so I didn’t have it on video. The p/s pump then has a -6 Teflon lined hose that goes to the rack. I used a special banjo bolt that has a -6 fitting on it to connect to the pressure hose.
@@samtrapp4562 Yes. I actually bought the GM Performance Parts kit. The accessories are oriented just like a 4th gen Camaro, but they're on the Corvette spacing. So I used a Corvette water pump and balancer when it was N/A and now the same water pump, but gen2 CTSV balancer. The part number of the kit was 19155066. Not sure if it's still available.
@@PetesGarageandperformance I have that kit 19155066..then i bought an lsa supercharger then bought the holley 20-163bk kit ive been waiting on since june! ITS ON BACKORDER ..the 19155066 complete kit is new and unused if someone's interested.
Unfortunately everything would have to be custom made like I did on my 5 series. My swap took me about 4 months. I would probably have to charge close to $10k in labor for something similar. It would be A LOT cheaper if there was a mount, header, wiring harness kit. But I don’t think there is for your body style.
Have you done any research on your chassis and LS swaps? Integration with the electronics on that chassis would be a nightmare. I don’t think there’s a set of headers and mounts made for that setup.
