Hey everyone! I had to edit down this video quite a lot to get it to a more manageable size, so it may feel a bit patchy and maybe doesn't flow too well in some parts, but at least it's way shorter now 😅 Also the light kept changing and it was really hard to fix, so I gave up at some point😔 Hope it would be still informative despite all that ☺
I think it is good that you've explained your side of things extendedly because in most of the videos, people cut it short and i feel like they cannot deliver what they really think and feel. For instance, the 'inner circle' about the art business in other countries is something i would like to learn and i'm glad you talked about this :)
@@enchantercometome Thank you. It's hard to share anything of value in a short format, but when you are a small unknown creator it's a lot to ask from someone to watch a 30+ min video, so it's a tricky balance to strike :)
Thank you for taking a deep dive into this topic! It's very helpful as I'm researching how it would work to gradually transfer to a self-employed creative career, and currently living in a Scandinavian country.
@@forindet Radostina, this is an amazing way to describe your experience, but let me also suggest to you the option of selling your Vector/Illustration work via Microstock sites, such as Adobe Stock (Shutterstock is going down...). I am selling my photography images for about 10 years. I would start by studying the option of Vectors as I do not think that the competition is so big and your quality of work is amazing!
@@ronyzmiri Thanks for the suggestion. I've considered it for a long time and even tried it a bit, but I feel like the golden age of stock has passed, it's going to be AI now. Adobe Stock is also used to train AI and I'd hate my work to be used for that and maybe already has been :/
@@forindet I do agree with some of the things you mention. The stock business is changing. Perhaps it make sense to give it a try in a,small scale. Your work and style is amazing)
@@ronyzmiri Thank you so much! I guess another aspect of it is that the idea of sitting down to organise and set it all up is quite overwhelming :D I have so much stuff 😂
