Brushed DC motors have two wires because they require DC current while brushless motors require more complex driving circuitry which controls the AC current required to drive them...

I may have missed it, but what did you do for the driveshaft? In my E 90 I went with the.Maxxecu full standalone that has plug and play and works with BMWs can bus and controls the LS and the BMW DCT all in one ECU
